All The Best!!
Hi
Mechatronics engineering will contain mechanical engineering and electronics engineering. So you will have posts in BARC based on availability. BARC is an atomic research centre. But they are doing many interdisciplinary research. So they may appoint if they need mechatronics engineering people. They use advanced machines. So there are a lot of chances.
Hope it helps.
Hello,
•Mechatronics Engineering which is a combination of diff engineering subjects is a new generation course and has a huge potential to grow by leaps and bounds not only in India but also abroad
•Mechatronics Engineering is a blend of different engineering disciplines and so the demand for Mechatronics Engineers is growing day by day
•Most of the engineering oriented business and industrial sectors are now paying attention towards Mechatronics Engineering as it has several app in these sectors
•Not only global enterprises bt also smaller innovative companies hiring Mechatronics Engineers
•Graduates of Mechatronics Engineering can find employment opportunities in several industries such as Robotics Nanotechnology Automation Aircraft Engineering Oceanography Oil and Gas
Mechatronics is very useful when it comes to automation of industrial tasks
•Synonymously Mechatronic product is called the smart product which is a result of the combination of three engineering disciplines namely Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science & Software Engineering
Thankyou.

Thank you
See if you clear the GATE Electrical paper then obviously you are eligible for the PSU but you need to have satisfy the qualification eligibility as asked by the PSU you are applying in. At this moment, if you search for the basic qualifications of most of the psu then there are no such eligibility conditions through which you can apply. So its better for you to pursue your MTech in a more broader field and then you can apply for jobs or postitions. Although Mechatronics is a vast subject and there are need of such engineers in different sectors such as Air Force,Aircraft Engineering, Oceanography, Oil and Gas etc. So there are chances for you to get chances in Mechanical Engineering related field of expertise. So its better for you to qualify GATE MECHANICAL than Electrical. That way you may get scope in PSU who have eligibility criteria of Mechanical Engineering.

Dear Aspirant,
No IIT or NIT offers B. Tech course in Mechatronics Engineering.Only, M.Tech in Mechatronics Engineering course is available at Indian Institute of Technology Patna.
IIT Patna for Mechatronics :-
Placements: For Mechatronics, it is difficult to get core companies since they are not visiting campus for placements. Companies like Honeywell and other all robotics companies visit the college for placements. Placements are difficult for mechanical students who do not have an interest in electronics and computer science.
Infrastructure: In classrooms, chairs should be set up stepwise because, on a flat surface, it is difficult for students to see the board. The hotel room is awesome. Two times cleaning of the entire hostel is done every day. There is a gym in the hostel, which anyone can use from 5 AM to 10 AM and 5 PM to 10 PM.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are good. Most of the teachers use board and chalk, but some teachers use PPT for taking classes most of the time. The course curriculum is excellent. In semester vacations, students get internships easily. It is not difficult to pass the semester, but we have to study well to get more than 8 CGPA.

Good Luck!
Hey,
ECE Students can find jobs and various positions in the mobile communication, manufacturing of electronics, Power electronics and much more. Candidates have both the options to work in either Public sector or Private sector. Candidates can opt for the position for Data Analyst, Field test engineer and more.
Mechatronics is comparatively a newer branch. The demand for technology specialists grows in lockstep with the evolution of industry. As a result, graduates of Mechatronics Engineering can work in a variety of industries, including Advanced Manufacturing and Robotics. Defense and security.
If we look at the present scenario, Mechatronics being a newer field is evolving and has a it less scope and opportunities than ECE. But, in upcoming years, it will surely undertake other branches as well. You should also keep in mind to look for your interest while choosing a course then, only you can give your best.
