Hey friend!
Mechatronics Engineering is the research division that studies mechanical engineering, electrical technology , information technology , telecommunications, device technology and control engineering. After graduation, graduates will work on various issues such as sensing and control systems, automation, robots and expert systems, transport and vehicle systems and advanced computer systems. Increased use of the health care and research centres medical imaging framework has improved the job profile of postgraduate engineers in mechatronics. The arrival of numerous space shuttles has given Mechatronics graduates further opportunities.

Hello aspirant!!
Mechatronics has future from the past itself. Subconsciously Mechatronics products have been developed without categorizing them into Mechatronics. And now almost all the appliances we use today are Mechatronics in nature. Yes your phones too, they have few Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) Sensors. The scope Mechanical and Electronic systems range from nano-meters to Space applications and combined application of both is what, termed as Mechatronics. The scope is abundant.
Hope this was helpful.
Dear Aspirant,
There is no ranking as such. You should understand that all the branches are very good but the placements are acting as a definitive factor for quite some time now in engineering. Moreover there is another thing, the college matters the most. Below are the top colleges for engineering:-
You should figure out what you like to do and choose wisely. ECE/EEE/EE are some good branches though.
Hope this helps, Thank you.
