Mechatronics Engineering
Hello,
Here is the previous year cut off to get seat in Thiagarajar College of Engineering (Autonomous) under BCM
Considering the cut off you have decent chances to get seat in all the preferred courses. Cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease depending on the total number of candidates applied, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. To check the cut off click use the link given below

Hi
Firstly congrats for your rank you got good rank we will provide you best link what we had it will helpful you to find best colleges according to you rank and category, With that you can apply for counselling too.
TNEA College Predictor,
Hey.
At first I want to say to you is that choosing a career path is totally on you. You should go for your interest .
And now coming to your second question . We can't differentiate between mechatronics and robotics as robotics is subset of mechatronics . Both of them include mechanical, electrical, and computer science but mechatronics is a broader category . Mechatronics give you platform for Robotics but for getting good grasp of robotics you have to deep dive with your own way. If you want to work in the field of designing and developing autonomous machines then you can go for mechatronics.
Hope this answer will help you.
Have bright future ahead.
Dear aspirant,
To get direct admission into second year in btech in mechatronics branch eligibility is Diploma in engineering in a relevant Branch.
The students of Diploma can join in second year directly as per Lateral Entry scheme. To get the admission into the Engineering college the students need to go through the entrance exam conducted by the Government to get admission into Second year.
Based on the rank the candidate scores in the entrance exam the students are allotted seat in Engineering colleges based on the rank.
If you want to get admission in Particular college and in Particular Branch without attempting the exam or else after attempting the exam you can go through the Management quota.
Many private engineering colleges give seats to students in a branch they selected under management quota where you need to pay extra amount other than tution fee of college for the allotment of seat.
hope it will be helpful
A two-year Post-Graduate Mechanical Engineering study called M.E (Mechatronics) or Master of Engineering in Mechatronics is available. When designing goods and manufacturing procedures, mechatronics brings together systems thinking, electrical control, and precision mechanical engineering in a synergistic way.
Eligibility Criteria of ME Mechatronics -
As per your query,
Yes, you are eligible to study M.E Mechatronics.
Thank You
As you have mentioned that currently you are perusing your degree from some other college and now you are willing to change college so in such case your college can help you and guide what are the options you can choose for this process.
Thank you..
Hi,
International Centre for Applied Sciences (ICAS) Manipal is a premier research institute in the field of applied sciences. The Institute was established in 1987 with the objective to provide high quality education and research facilities in science, engineering, management and technology. ICAS has been ranked among top 50 institutions by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), 2018. It is one of the best institutes offering BTech programs at undergraduate level. The institute also offers MTech degree program from various disciplines like Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering.
The word “mechanics” refers to the study of how things work. Mechatronics is a combination of mechanics and electronics. It is the application of engineering principles to design, build, and operate systems that are made up of mechanical parts (e.g., machines) and electronic components (such as sensors). The goal is to create products that are more reliable, efficient, flexible, safer, or more cost-effective than those currently on the market.
Yes! You can study the course from international Universities too. It depends on your choice whether you chose BTech or BSc. However, BTech is a trend.
Thank you!
Hi there,
Mechatronics is a leading branch in today's world. Usually the Mechatronics us comprised of two words that is mechanical + electronics.
The career in Mechatronics is also growing rapidly because of its ease in future.
