I have 160 mark in neet 2021. what will be my kerala obc rank and what courses will I get?. can I go for private med colleges or deemed colleges for mbbs?

Abhi S 16th Oct, 2021

Hello dear ,

You have got 160 marks in neet exam and belong to obc category.  With the mentioned marks your rank will be in between the range of 682106 to 757256 rank.  With this marks it difficult to predict your kerala obc rank as it depends on many factors like no of students appeared in the exam,  no of seats available,  difficulty of the exam.  With this rank it is difficult to get a private mbbs college in kerala  it is better to try a deemed mbbs college with your marks.

You can use the site given below to know about the colleges that you will get with your predicted rank

On such NEET score you cannot get seat in any of the government medical college through AIQ counselling as per the precious year's cut-off because for General candidates the cut-off closes somewhere around 580+ marks but on such score you can go for some Deemed Institutions through AIQ counselling, so as per the previous years data you can go for following deemed institutions through AIQ counselling :-

Institute of Medical Sciences and SUMH, Bhubaneswar:-360 marks

Sri Siddhartha Medical College DU, T Begur:- 328 marks

my neet score is 525 (gen) . I am from Jharkhand , can I get govt med college for mbbs or any private college with very low fees?

rajeevanand843 27th Sep, 2021

Dear aspirant

There is very low number of medical College in Jharkhand state due to which cut off marks for Gen category candidate goes very high every year.

Neet2020 cut off marks for Gen category Through state quota counselling was 604 marks.

So at your expected marks you have almost no chance of getting govt college in Jharkhand.

You can try for only private medical colleges,Tata Manipal medical College for a seat.

For low private medical colleges fee's you may try in kerala and Karnataka state counselling for private medical colleges.

You can use our college predictor tool for knowing personalized results of getting mbbs BDS college at your expected marks

hope I may have resolved your query.

Which college among these 3 is better: mm inst. med. and research, mullana, Kalinga institute of medical sciences bhubaneswar, Sri Siddhartha Medical College Tumkur, Karnataka?

pri111nah 6th Nov, 2021

Hi,

In my opinion you should go for Sri Siddhartha Medical College Tumkur.

The college offers good placements . There are a number of good hospitals around the college and students usually get jobs there with an annual package of around 5.5 lakhs. Some students who qualify for NEET PG they continue with their studies.

At last it all depends on your choice of interest.
