Hello Dear Student,

There is No Women's Quota in NEET-UG All India Quota Admissions but there are 3 Government Medical Colleges which are exclusively reserved for Women's, the colleges are Lady Harding Institute of Medical Sciences (LHMC) Delhi, BPS Govt Girls Medical College Sonepat (Haryana) and Sri Padmavathi Medical College Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh) and Some State Governments also have reservation for women candidates on State Quota Seats of Medical and Dental Colleges. I got 390 marks in Neet 2020 and my category is BC A, Will I able to get seat in any of the Private or Govt colleges either Telangana Or Andhra Pradesh states. Please Someone kindly answer my question.

Kuheli Sanyal 3rd Oct, 2020

Hey,

With 390 marks, you may get a rank between 131606-142409. You can check here https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank

In Telangana, last year the cut off for BCA category in medical colleges was around a marks of 430-420. So it is difficult for you to get a medical seat in Telangana.

In Andhra Pradesh, last year the cut off for BCA in AU region was at the rank of 55883 and in SVU region was 71565. So it is difficult for you to get a medical seat in Andhra Pradesh.

Keep in mind that cut off varies every year depending on the availability of seats and the total number of qualified candidates.

i got 485. mjhe govt milega kya

Anurag pal Student Expert 25th Sep, 2020

Hey dear, you need to be more specific in your question what exam are you actually talking about. As far as i am concerned you must be asking about neet exam. So with 485 marks getting govt. Mbbs seat is tough as cutoff falls very high as seen from previous year's stats. You will definitely have chances for bams and bhms. is chattisgarh a closed or open state for private medical college for pursuing mbbs this year 2020? do tell me according to latest reports please as its very confusing?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 3rd Nov, 2020

DME, Raipur has not released its official prospectus for the year 2020. But going by previous year's Chattisgarh is an Open State and last year out of State Candidates have been allowed to take admission through Management Quota of Private Medical Colleges through State Counselling. There are 3 Categories in Private Medical Colleges. Category A is the Government Quota Seats. And only candidates of the home State are eligible to apply for these seats. B Category seats are also called Management Quota Seats and they are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly provided the Candidate has registered for the respective State Counselling and has not been able to secure a seat in the Counselling. Here the fees is usually nothing less than 40 lakhs. The last Category is NRI seats Category and you cannot apply for that.
