how much 12th mark required for mbbs in scb medical college

mjaisinghani62 7th Feb, 2024

Hello Sarada

You will need minimum 50% marks in class xii , but this is not sufficient , admission to medical courses in any college all over India solely depends upon NEET score .

On the basis of neet score you will be alloted a medical seat .

Now  which course or which college will you get depends upon several factors.

It depends upon neet cut off which depends upon  , difficulty level of exam, previous year's cut off , availability of seats etc . Neet cut off changes every year and it varies with state.

For medical seats there are 85% state quota seats and 15% All India Quota ( AIQ)

State quota seats are provided to candidates of that particular state whereas all India quota is for all Indians candidates of any state.

For general category qualifying marks in Neet is 50 percentile , for sc/ st it is 40 percentile and for obc it is 45 percentile .

i am resident of Andra Pradesh.I am studying MBBS 1st year in osmania medical College, Telangana.will i get fee reimbursement ? if yes then from which government do i get reimbursement

mjaisinghani62 9th Feb, 2024

Hello aspirant.

No you won't get reimbursement of fees if you have already joined the college.

There is provision of refund of fees after the first round of counseling for mbbs Course,  after that you won't get this chance .

In some states not in all but in few universities  there is facility of refund of fees only for backward class candidates.

So it will be better to think again and continue your study otherwise you may face issue for getting NOC from college .

One more thing if you will return back next year uou won't get this seet again and after appearing again for neet you will be eligible to get any medical seat.
