Hi Pooja.....
Government colleges in Delhi are the 1st priority of almost every medical aspirant and hence the cut off and so the minimum marks required to get into them is very high .
There are 2 situations :
1. If you have a Delhi domicile ,
General category :
Minimum marks =
SC category :
Minimum marks : 344 .
OBC category :
Minimum marks : 490–500.
2. If you don't have a Delhi domicile :
Minimum marks :
Minimum marks : 300 above .
ST category :
Minimum marks : 200 and above .
Minimum marks : 575 - 580 and above .
So its actually a tough go for outside Delhi general category aspirants.
The above mentioned marks are just an average of past 3 years and it can change depending upon various factors ( highest marks , lowest marks , qualifying marks , difficulty level etc)
Hope it helps you…..Thank U
