Hello

According to your marks, you can have chances to get a seat in dental colleges through All India Quota. However, kindly mention your NEET All India Rank then we can tell you better about the admission chances.

Also, the first round seat allotment result has been declared. I hope you have checked the result. Stay connected to the official website for reference

Pooja Gulati 30th May, 2019

Hi !

First of all , congratulations for scoring such a good score in NEET. The chances of getting a medical seat in Maulana Azad medical college through all india quota are very high for you. According to 2018s data, the closing marks for this college were 662, which are enough close to your marks. So, yes you have fairly chance of getting this college.

Rest , it depends on each year's cutoff , as it changes every year, but have a good margin for this college.

All the best !

Arya Viswanath 19th May, 2019

Hello,

Based on the cutoff of 2018 the cutoff of King George Medical College , Lucknow under state quota was 589.

So you have chances only if you have state quota.

You can check the previous year cutoffs using the link below,

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up

Similarly you have chances in Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, New Delhi if you have state quota.

Because the cutoff of 2018 was 603 under state quota and 662 under All India Quota.

You can check the cutoff using the link below,

Every year the cutoff will vary based on the difficulty level of exam, no of applicants, no of seats available etc.

Hope this helped you!

What is the meaning of DU Internal seats. If I am a Delhi candidate, what should I prefer first AIQ or DU Internal quota for admission?

Shatabdi Singh 21st Jun, 2019

Hello ,

As you want to apply for college of Delhi University and you are confused in between applying quote for AIQ or DU internal . First I would like to tell you that DU internal means in every Delhi University College 85% of available seats are conserved for Delhi students .

If you are looking for ward to apply , in my opinion you should apply for DU Internal at first because they have the highest percentage of total seat if at the end you don't get any seat or for the sake of your admission they will automatically promote you to AIQ reserved seats .

So I'll conclude that it's better to apply for DU internal but also so one thing , the college for which you are applying go and communicate with there admission cell they can tell you in more easy way which seatis currently available in ease manner for you .

I hope your query is solved.

Thank you.

Im private cndidate I failed in main Exam,so I passd as private candidate, during councilling in neet they ask tc and cc

Ranjot Singh Student Expert 19th Jun, 2019

Hello aspirant,

As you have passed as a private candidate in your Higher Secondary Education, you can request the authorities that you will be able to produce your character certificate and transfer certificate later on. If they agree to this, it will be well and good.

But let me clear you that no college takes admission without transfer and character certificate. Hence you must try your best to get those before counselling dates by visiting your school or contacting CBSE or any other board in which you have appeared as a private candidate.

Good luck

What are the qualifications required for a DU student to get admission in Molana azad medical college Delhi ?

Raashi Kohli 13th Jun, 2019

Hi, the institution offers MBBS course at the undergraduate level. It admits 250 students for the MBBS course annually based on the scores secured in NEET Exam in that particular year.

The distribution of seats in the college as per DU Norms:

  • 15% of the total seats are filled in through the entrance examination conducted by the C.B.S.E or on All India Quota basis
  • 85% of total seats are filled in through the DU Norms
  • 6% seats are reserved for Government of India nominees

Delhi University comprises Maulan azad medical college, lady hardinge medical college, university college of medical sciences for medical education. Students who have done MBBS from these 3 colleges have reservation in pg seats in these 3 colleges. This is 50 percent. In every state half seats are reserved for students of that very state and rest half is filled by all India quota.

To know more about MBBS admission in DU refer to the article in the link given: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/du-mbbs-admission

adggupta23 Student Expert 16th May, 2019

Dear candidate,

As per your said marks and as per the last year cutoff trend there is very little chance for you to get BSA medical college.

As per the last year cuttoff trend for bsa government medical college under the state quota for unreserved category was 568 closing. As merit always change every year and you are very close to laste year marks so you can hope for the college.
