i am an obc girl canfidate according my jee result i will get nit raipur mining engineering should i go for it Or should i go to vit chennai their i got eee

Nimisha Sharma 27th Sep, 2021
I would suggest you to go for VIT in the branch Electrical Engineering or if you can get other branches like Electronics and communication engineering and computer science, it would be even better. But this is assuming you do not have particular interest in any field.

Explore about the course structure and curriculum of both branches i.e. Mining Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Then select the one where your interest lies. Don't go for any branch just because it's in a NIT, VIT is also a good option.

Hope this helps !

plzz tell me i have completed diploma in mining engineering. can i give jelet exam and are eligible for jadavapur university

Subhrajit Mukherjee 2nd Sep, 2021

See if you have complete Diploma in Mining Engineering then you are eligible for BTech through JELET provided you should satisfy the undermentioned eligibility criteria:

The candidate must have passed the diploma programme with minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% in case of SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD) or equivalent CGPA.

As a result if you score very good in JELET then only you can expect the JELET and the rank you should expect must be in top 100 as JU have less seats and higher competition. Also if you want you can change your stream in your BTech.

To know more about JELET visit the link below:

Sir can I get bit sindri mining engg at 86.23%ile jee mains 2021 I am gen male from home state jharkhand

Abhishek Roy 28th Aug, 2021

With a Percentile of 86.23 in JEE Main, you perhaps have low to moderate chances in securing a seat at Mining Engineering BIT Sindri, being from General Category .Try Securing atleast 89-91 Percentile, for fair chances of securing a seat at BIT Sindri. However, at 86 Percentile, youll definitely secure a seat in VBU Hazaribagh and RVSCET Jamshedpur.

I fill the form of jee for April attempt now my exam is on 25 July .But I want ki ye shift ho jaye August mn is it possible please reply

Akanksha 18th Jul, 2021
Hello Aspirant

JEE Mains 2021 April session or phase 3 will be conducted on 20 July, 22 July, 25 July and 27 July 2021.
You cannot change your exam date. You will have to write your on the date as given on your admit card. If your exam is scheduled on 25th July 2021, then you will have to appear for the exam on the same date.

If you are unable to give your exam on 25th July, you still have a chance to appear for JEE Mains phase 4. The last date to register for JEE mains phase 4 is 20 July 2021.

In order to give students some time to prepare for next phase, the dates for Phase 4 or May session was postponed. The new JEE Main session 4 exam dates are August 26, 27, 31, September 1 and 2.

You can prepare well for this exam and give your best results.

Hope this helps

If I am doing btech in cse from India and my ist year is completed this year and I give IELTS exam and my exam gets cleared then for further studies ke liye foreign mn Hume starting se pdhai krni pdegi ya 2nd year se hi continue ho jayega

REVILLA SAI VAMSHI 24th Aug, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

The Continuation of Engineering from other colleges in abroad you were referring to... sounds like a semester exchange program.yes, few top colleges in India do allow there student's to join a college in abroad for a semester or so this colleges were in collaboration with your those universities.

Unfortunately you yourself by writing IELTS can't go to abroad and make a proposal to continue from your second year.probably you will be insisted to join as a freshmen again if you get an admit there (you will be asked to start from 1st semester).

Hope this is informative

taking mining in anna university or ece in sastra which is best?

Nitya 16th Aug, 2021

Hey,

Firstly, this question totally depends on one thing that is your interest. You are not comparing colleges for same branches instead its between 2 separate branches. I will suggest you to go for the branch you like rather than comparing the 2 institutes. No matter how good is the college, if you dont like the branch you cannot put your 100% efforts. This will eventually lead you to no where.

But still you have asked so i will answer.

As per the NIRF ranking,

  • Shanmugha Arts Science Technology & Research Academy is ranked 37
  • Anna University is ranked 14 all over India.

The parameters taken for ranking are of high importance such as research, infrastructure, placements, teaching and many more. Keeping in mind the reliability of the source, Anna University can be prefered.

But eventually what matters more is your choice. If its ECE that makes you to study more than go for ECE, otherwise Mining Engineering.

can a student apply both mining and electrical branch at a time?

Akash Singh 7th Jul, 2021

Dear Nishita,

You cannot pursue two branches at once.

See, you can apply for these two branches but at the end you will get only branch according to your rank or merit. Both these branches have many dissimilarities and hence at a time a student is not allowed to pursue two courses at once.

Not only this in any college, you cannot pursue two branches at once. But yes, you can apply for two branches and you should keep your first preference of branch on top and then second because your rank will be checked first for your first preference and then second and so on.

I hope this information helps you.
