hello everyone ,my name is Rahul and my question is about the percentile to get admission in mining engineering for Btech in BIT skindri .so,i scored a Percentile of 43.5% in jee mains which is a deteriorated performance in jee mains ,so i was questioning that can i get admission in mining eng.

ayanmukherjee045 27th Jun, 2021

Dear Rahul,

As you have mentioned that you have got 43.5 percentile in jee mains and you are wanting to take up the mining branch in bit sindri so let me tell you that your percentile is a bit low if you want this college.

Considering you as general category candidate you need to score atleast 90+ percentile to get into this college.

Actually cut off would vary as per the number of candidates or rather the quality of candidates applying for the college. It is safer to keep your percentile alteast 92-93.
