Hello aspirant

The basic eligibility criteria for all the engineering courses is 50/60% marks in 10+2 physics, chemistry and maths.

The selection process varies for different colleges i.e every institution will have different criteria for admission. Most of the universities accept jee scores while others conduct their own entrance exams.

After completion of your diploma you are eligible for admission in B.tech colleges in second year.

A mining engineer is somebody who is academically accomplished in the engineering discipline of extraction of minerals from underneath the ground, above the ground or on it. Averagly in india the 4 years course of mining engineering will cost up to 8 lakhs to 20 lakhs and in aboard it will cost up to 26 lakhs for all course duration.hooe this helps you

My recommendation would be to do B.Tech or B.E since you've done your diploma already. Metallurgy would be a good option for you. You'll be allowed lateral entry. Which means you can directly join second year without having to clear first year. For metallurgy NIT Trichy is a good option.

To pursue mining engineering course you need to Paas your intermediate with 50% aggregate score in Physics Mathematics and Chemistry. If you want to get into NIIT for this course then and it is mandatory to qualify JEE Mains with 88 and above percentile.
