Which is better Nit Rourkela Mining engineering or Nit Raipur Civil engineering?

Sohamsengupta8 30th Nov, 2021

Hello Student

In NIT Rourkela mining engineering what the mechanical engineering course of study is better in all aspects. Like placement faculties and libraries in laboratories mechanical branches in NIT Rourkela is better than all the other branches. In second position in NIT Rourkela is a computer science engineering do the faculties and the education is not so good. The research facilities around so good in NIT Rourkela regarding computer science engineering and Mechanical engineering also.

In NIT Raipur civil engineering infrastructure is better than any other NIT what the placement is not so helpful in this branch of study.

So  it is better for you the choice of mechanical engineering branch at Rourkela NIT.

Subhalaxmi Biswal 4th Feb, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

The scope of asteroid mining in different sectors is as follows:-

Engineering - Systems engineers in the profession are concentrated on sectors like spacecraft design and mission architecture that bank on in situ resources utilization or ISRU.

Engineers are instructed to prepare usage of limited aids in orbit and on foreign planets to generate endurable galactic missions.

Economics and Policy

Economists in space mining understand the space business very well.

They’ve got a strong knowledge of economy, money and industry problems.

They frequently furnish a large viewpoint to shareholders and CFOs at firms that are investing in the space industry.

Remote sensing, Exploration, and Resource Assessment

Remote sensing is utilizing an assigned area’s radiation to observe abnormalities.

Remote sensing is used in mapping forest fires, tracing clouds to indicate the weather, and the discovery of the ocean floor.

I hope it helps.

Thank you.

what is asteroid mining and future career options

SREYASHI SEN 18th Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant..

Asteroid Mining

The hypothetical extraction of resources from asteroids and other small planets, including near-Earth objects, is known as asteroid mining.

The high expense of spaceflight, incorrect detection of asteroids suited for mining, and increased extraction issues are among the challenges. As a result, land mining is still the sole way to get raw minerals today.

Asteroid sample return research missions, such as the completed Hayabusa and Hayabusa2 and the in-progress OSIRIS-REx, provide data that could potentially permit a study of future asteroid mining, despite the fact that this was not their major goal.

I hope this information helps.

Regards.

Dear candidate,

You can always do coding and go for tech jobs. You will have enough time to grab a good tech company if you start early. Mostly companies allow a non cs candidate for placement but if some doesn't, you can always go for off campus placements.

should i choose mining 5 years at nit Rourkela or ee at nit manipur

Piyush 22nd Nov, 2021

Hello Raj ,

NIT rourkela is a very good college in terms of placements as it have very good placement records since several years .

And NIT maniour is also good in terms of placements , academics , facilities and infrastructure but not as good as NIT Rourkela .

According to me , if you want to go with the branch preference then go with NIT Manipur , since ee is much better option than mining . BUT if you want to go as college preference , then you can choose NIT Rourkela as it's one of the most prestigious colleges among NITs.

So it's very upto you to decide in which college you want to take admission .
