Mining Engineering
Hello student
hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query, I would glad inform you that DTU will be the best option to persue engineering in, as I always say go for college instead of branch , from any branch if you work hard , studious dedicatedly and have good command on data structure and algorithm then you can be placed in any good product based company as students of all branches get equal opportunities at the time of placements
Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future
Dear aspirant,
As per your rank in JEE mains which 1.35 L and taking into consideration you belong to obc ncl category so let me tell you that it's very difficult to get good nits like Jamshedpur durgapur Silchar allahabad rourkela Calicut.
Considering your home state as up still it's very difficult to get a branch of your choice in that particular nit or any college so I would suggest you to see for gurughasidas , Assam University, kongri Vishwavidyalaya.
Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs.

hii ,
if you want to go for engineering in tech field then it would be better to go for iit and study IT field and not the branch you take as in iit you will get many oppourtunities , if you like mechanical branch and want to study it then you can go for GFTIs .

ALL THE BEST! WORK HARD !!
Hello,
Petroleum Engineering has comparatively wider scope and exposure than mining engineering.
With the growing oil economy there are various perks of being a petroleum engineer:
Good luck, hope it helps!!
See there are no boundaries for females, regarding Mining. So if you want to go for the mining then there is no problem being a female candidate. Now CSE in NIT DURGAPUR is quite good but the exposure to the field you will get in IIT KGP will be far more fetched. The teachers as well as the environment you will get will be far better than what you will experience at NIT Durgapur. Although the CSE is one of the most employable fields so you can go for it. But personally the environment IIT's provide the students, actually gives them the rigor to get a personality and stress management.
Now I would recommend you to choose which one you feel like but if you go for IIT's then also you can participate in different placements for CSE as well . So apart from the subject there is not a huge difference in terms of career establishment.

Hello aspirant,
First of all ceramic, metallurgical, mining or environmental engineering were somewhat newer branches of engineering according to industrial needs. In India there were not so much companies which recruit students from this respective branches.
Again mechanical, electrical, computers and communication engineering were regarded as core branches of engineering. There is a need of engineers from this branches everytime. So you may get various opportunities after graduation.
Again comparison of IIT with GFTI is not so good. As IIT's were the most premium institutions in India and you can get a good academy culture and work culture there and have more than 90% chances of getting placements.
But all GFTI's were not same, some were very good where you can explore study and work culture seemly but some were not so good comparatively.
So choose according to your interest which will help you more than choosing a good college.
Hope it helps you..
Best of luck..
