how much should i score in neet 2021 to get admission in shahdol govt mbbs College mp with sc category

monstwerdash 20th Dec, 2021

Hello there ,

Hope you are doing well . See, as All India and state Counselling for most of the states through NEET UG-2021 hasn't begun yet ,it is difficult to predict the exact cut-offs for various colleges . However ,it's expected to be somewhat similar to last year's or may increase in some states pertaining to the new guidelines issued by the Supreme court for 4 rounds of AIQ councelling.

In 2020 , the cutoff score through the state counselling of Madhya Pradesh for an SC candidate to get GMC,Shahdol was 425 with an AIR of 157478.So,in 2021 you atleast needed to score 425+ in order to get this college .

Further,

You can have details of the colleges you can get into based on your NEET AIR and category both through AIQ and SQ of your state  from the link given below :

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

You can have a better idea of the expected cutoffs by viewing the past year qualifying cutoffs through the link below:

If you want to prepare for neet 2022,here are some useful resources which you can use to strengthen you preparation.

with 400 marks theres is chance to get govt college in mp neet 2021 with SC category

Piyush 20th Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant,

I hope that you are doing absolutely great.

With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that it will be little difficult for you to get any seat in government colleges since your rank is likely to be very less even with SC category. The cutoff varies every year and is different for different categories so it's little difficult to predict precisely which colleges you can get with this neet marks. After predicting from the rank predictor tool, Your Overall Percentile is: 87.54 - 88.04 and Your Predicted Rank is: 187897 - 220047. So, it's little difficult to get any govt seat.

The cutoff depends on the number of factors like : number of students appearing in an examination, the difficulty level of the paper, previous year cutoff etc.

Further, you can check the neet college predictor tool to get more information about your admission probabilities in other colleges based on your rank and percentile score :

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

Further, you can also predict your overall rank, with the help of rank predictor tool :

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp

You can also check the neet cutoff trends by checking the below article :

I hope that this will help.

sir my caste is OBC and have got 356 marks in neet 2021.what will i have to do to get private mbbs college in mp

Anurag Khanna 19th Dec, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your home state so considering it as MP according to your profile. So if you are seeking admission is medical/dental colleges of MP then you have to apply for state quota counselling of MP which is not started yet but it may start soon.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.

So according to the data, on such marks and category you have very low chances of getting even Private medical colleges in MP under state quota but you have good chances for some private dental colleges according to previous year's cut-off.

As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you have chances in following colleges :-

Bhabha College of Dental Sciences, Bhopal  -193 marks

Maharana Pratap Dental College Gwalior - 185 marks

Institute of Dental Education and Advance Studies, Gwalior - 164 marks

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

NEET 2020 Cutoff MP - College-wise Cutoffs, Government & Private (careers360.com)

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

-->>> SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile - 121-108 marks

sir i have got 356 marks in neet 2021 . should i get private mbbs in mp

piyush singh 19th Dec, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

With 356 marks in NEET your rank will be around 3 lakhs so getting MBBS in Government colleges is almost impossible if you belong from General category.

Yes ,if you don't want to take a drop of one year you should go for Private medical colleges in MP but private medical colleges fees are too high so take decision accordingly.

Some good private medical colleges in MP are :

RD Gargi medical college ,Ujjain

LN medical college and JK hospital ,Bhopal

People college of medical science and research Centre ,Bhopal

Sri Aurobindo medical college and PG Institute, Indore

Other option is that you can take a one year drop and prepare and perform Better next time .

Hope this helps.

I am from UR (General) category, I scored 549 marks and 1121 rank in Overall merit list of MP state (625 rank in UR category candidates) MBBS seat in which Govt. medical college could be expected in MP state quota.

piyush263001 23rd Jan, 2022

Hello,

According to previous year data for NEET STATE COUNSELING FOR MADHYA PRADESH, Last Candidate from General Category to get MBBS seat in Government Medical College was in Government Medical College, Shahdol  with All India Rank 42,080  and Marks 560.

----- If we go by the aforementioned data, then your chances of getting MBBS seat in Government Medical College is grim .

Cut-offs for colleges change every year depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs for colleges is expected to increase compared to last year.

For complete details about previous year cut offs of All the medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh for MBBS and BDS and for different categories, kindly check out the link given below-

Hello,

Pursuing MBBS from a private college/institue can be very costly. Generally for pursuing MBBS a candidate need to pay at least 70 Lakhs for the whole course.

See, scholarship pattern varies from university to university but for that you need to understand their eligibity criteria. It is must to understand the eligibity criteria for the scholarship.  It is better if you mention the college name for better reach.

I suggest you to kindly mention the college name so that we can help you.

I hope this helps you.
