Im from bihar,my AIR is 42042,can i get private medical college ,in MP.

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year

Since you haven't mentioned your category I would consider you as a General category candidate.

Also it would have been easier to answer had you mentioned you marks, as college cut offs are decided from marks scored and not rank. I expect you to be scoring around 560 marks. With your marks it would be very difficult for you to get admission in Government Medical College for MBBS admission. Though you can try in following colleges through All India Quota counseling-

• Amaltas Institute of Medical Sciences

• Chirayu Medical College Bhopal

• Index Medical College Indore

• L.N. Medical College, Bhopal

• People's College of Medical Sciences, Bhopal

• RD Gardi Medical College, Ujjain

• Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS), Indore

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict because cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-

******number of students that appeared in the  jee main exam,

****** number of available seats,

****** performance of different students in the examination,

****** the category you belong etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend then

>>>>>> With your  168073 rank,

You have low chances in NITs / IIITs

You have chances in  some of the government engineering colleges in MP which are listed below along with the link for their previous year cut off  :-

-------) Jabalpur Engineering College, Jabalpur:-

https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/jabalpur-engineering-college-jabalpur/cut-off

-------) Rewa Engineering College, Rewa:- https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/rewa-engineering-college-rewa/cut-off

-------) Engineering College Nowgong, Chhatarpur:- https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/engineering-college-nowgong-chhatarpur/cut-off

-------) Jiwaji University, Gwalior:- https://dqxeclau.top/university/jiwaji-university-gwalior/cut-off

-------) UJJAIN ENGINEERING COLLEGE:- https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/ujjain-engineering-college-ujjain/cut-off

And  more

This prediction of colleges is  based of past year data but  cut off or closing rank changes every year depending upon many factors like the number of students that give the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main  for different shifts etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

bhumikarchie 23rd Sep, 2021

Hello aspirant

Hope you are doing great there . According to your marks , your percentile score is expected to be around 70.68 - 74.2 . I am really very sorry to say this but with this percentile score you won't be able to get a seat in some government college with a valuable branch . Therefore I would suggest you to take a seat in some private college with a good branch .

Sourav Sarkar 8th Dec, 2021

Dear Ashwinisingh,

You were meant to frame the colleges during the counselling process in accordance with your preferences. Now that you have got a chance in the second preference you only have the option to go for 1st preference college in the upcoming rounds but in no way you can choose third preference of your college.
