Master of Public Health is a two-year postgraduate interdisciplinary programme awarded for studies in areas related to public health. The programme is designed to focus on public health services rather than research and teaching. The course is of two year which is segregated into four semesters.

Eligibility criteria for Master of public health is defined as the minimum requirements and parameters set by the universities and institutes individually that students are required to fulfill in order to apply for the admission to the programme. Following is the eligibility criteria defined by the universities in order to get admission to the Master of public health:

• Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree within any of the health sciences fields such as MBBS, BDS, BPT, Nursing, Biomedical engineering, and other professional health science courses.
• Also, there are some universities and institutes that demand a minimum of 50% aggregate in bachelor’s degree in order to be considered for the admission.

Candidates holding bachelor’s degree in the field of health science are eligible to apply for the admission. Candidates should note that there is no entrance exam for admission to the programme. Hence, candidates are required to follow the individual admission guidelines circulated by the universities and institutes. Steps to Take admission :- The entrance exam, all the counselling procedure and selection of candidates for admission to this course is done by GGSIP University. So, you have to fill the form whenever it is available on the website of GGSIPU and then you have to appear for the entrance exams for the same. If you qualified the exam, you will be called for counseling and then if you submitted all the required documents with payment of fees, then your admission will be done.

Dr. D.Y. Patil College in Pune offers MPH courses for2 years. You have to give an entrance exam for the same and you need to score 50% to pass the exam. The graduation marks will have 20% weight and the rest 80% weightage is carried by the entrance exam. You should have completed your graduation in a health science course. The exam is OEE for getting a seat for the mph course. For Savitribai Phule College also, you have to follow the same procedure as you are following for D.Y Patil College.

MPH Admissions 2022 will be done on the basis of merit as well as entrance exams conducted at the National, State or University level. NEET PG, SRMJEEH, PGIMER MPH, etc.

For admission in Masters in Public health MPH Course in Jawaharlal Nehru University , you have to appear in the entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency. Every year the cutoff varies, but for a General Category student, scoring around 70 out of 100 is a safe score. For OBC, around 65 and SC/ST around 60. If you are around this mark, you can get admission.

For MPH Course in Jawaharlal Nehru University, there are 4 seats in General Category, 2-2 seats each in SC and ST category respectively and 4 seats in OBC category.

You have to apply in JNUEE and clear the cutoff to get admission in MPH Course of JNU.
