If i study btech cs in Sinhagad college, pune do alot of cs courses out of Maharashtra, study the 11-12 months bachelors course of great learning & take campus job from GL. Will it be a strong resume for going for ms in abroad? Will it make me different from others for ms?

bagul.atharva009 31st Dec, 2021

Certainly, indulging into activitites other than your curriculum will help you stand out of the crowd and can build a great resume but the foreign universities do accept the internships, research paper publishing , sports etc apart from these many universities require LOR(letter of recommendation) from your teacher and SOP(Statement of Purpose) from your side .

my rank is 39k category-sc ,can I get government ms opthal,or obs&gyani?

Kuheli Sanyal 6th Oct, 2021

Hey,

Last year the cut off for SC category under All India Quota for MS Ophthalmology was a rank of 33425. So, based on this, it is difficult for you to get a government seat. Based on previous year allotment result of All India Counselling, you may get the following colleges -

  • Dr DY Patil Medical College and Hospital, Pune ( M.S. Ophthalmology )
  • Medical College, Kolkata ( Diploma in Ophthalmology )

Last year the cut off for Obstetrics and Gynaecology under SC category, All India Quota was a rank of 29843. So it is quite difficult for you to get a government seat. But you can get a seat in the following colleges -

  • Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital - ( M.D. Obst. & Gynae )/ MS (Obstetrics and Gynaecology)
  • VMKV Medical College and Hospital, Salem - ( M.D. Obst. & Gynae/MS Obstretics and Gynaecology )

Is there any option to get into Ms astrophysics other than JEST, GATE?

Biswadeep Biswas 4th Oct, 2021

The admission to the M.S. courses is done through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) so you will have to give GATE exam to do Master of Science in Astronomy and Astrophysics in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram. There is no other way for admissions .

Hi, Can I get any clinical branches in MD/MS/DNB/Diploma in Telangana with a NEET PG rank of 54200? I am looking for government seats in Telangana. (BC-A Female) Any help from you is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Kuheli Sanyal 8th Oct, 2021

Hey,

Based on previous year cut off, with a rank of 54200 in NEET PG and under BCA category, you have good chances of getting a seat of M.D. in Social and Preventive Medicine ( SPM ) through Telangana State Counselling. You have little chances of getting a seat of M.D. Forensic Medicine, M.D. Pathology. Keep in mind that cut offs are subject to change every year depending on the difficulty level of the paper, the performance of the students and the number of seats available.

You can get a complete list of colleges in which you can get a seat in a desired branch you can use the following college predictors https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-pg-college-predictor
