What is better MD/MS in Ayurveda from a private institution or PG Diploma from BHU, Varanasi

Sohamsengupta8 12th Nov, 2021

Hello Student

Best PG degree or diploma courses from  Banaras Hindu University BHU, MD/MS degree in ayurvedic from private colleges are not so worth doing in the opportunities for job and placement in future. Only doing private practices, there is no scope for getting any government jobs those who have   the degree of MD and MS in ayurvedic from private colleges. But the PG diploma in ayurvedic from Banaras Hindu University is a meaningful PG diploma for in the field of private practice and government and renowned hospital jobs in future.

Hope this helps.

got rank 9548 in neet 2021 will i get mmc mysore ms general surgery ?.

Kuheli Sanyal 2nd Oct, 2021

Hey,

Since you did not mention your category, I am assuming you are from general category.

Last year, in the first round of Post Graduate Medical Seats Allotment of All India Counselling, the last rank to get M.S. General Surgery in Mysore Medical College and Research Institute was 3506 under general category.

So based on that, it is quite difficult for you to get this seat. However, you have decent chances of getting M.S. General Surgery in the following colleges through All India Quota -

  • Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore
  • Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi
  • Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, AMU

To get a complete list of colleges in which you may get a seat of your desired branch, you may use NEET PG College Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-pg-college-predictor

It is important to note that the above predictions are based on previous year data. Cut offs vary every year depending on various factors such as difficulty level of the paper, the performance of the students and the number of seats available.
