Hello,
The cut off in 2019 round 6 for admission to CSE in NIT, Nagaland was 24487 (CRL). Considering this the chances are very less to get seat in CSE in this NIT if you choose slide as online willingness. But cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates qualified, difficulty of exam and number of seats available etc.
Since the chances of getting seat in CSE is low you may consider float option
so that you can accept the seat but still be eligible to get seat in any institute of higher preference. If no seat is allotted then then you will still have the previous seat. But if you want to take a chance and want to get CSE then you can choose slide.
You can use our JEE main college predictor to know the colleges you may get seat https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Tumhe assam state quota se seat mila kya?
Dear Aspirant,
If you have secured 39.93 percentile in JEE mains and you belong to the General Category then I regret to inform you that it's tough for you to get admitted in any of the top private colleges in the country. But still do not get disheartened as there are other second tier private colleges in Nagaland which can land you a seat but in such colleges getting a job at the end of graduation is difficult. So you must work very hard and develop your skills or try to prepare for any other competitive examination from your 3rd year.Hope my advice provides you a clear insight and you can now make an optimum choice. My best wishes to you and may you get admitted in your desired college.

Hi aspirant!
I would like to suggest NIT Nagaland EEE because NIT provides a lot more facilities than other universities. The standard of education is even much better than most universities or state colleges. However if you want to take up CSE try looking into other NITs if possible. If the department is not of any concern and the distance doesn't matter then opt for NIT Nagaland.
Hope this helps!
All the best!!
Hey there, congratulations on getting seat in either of the two!!
Dear candidate hope you are doing, well as per the differences are concerned about NIT Mizoram and NIT Nagaland. You must know about some of the things like placement records fee structure and what was the cutoff in 2020 for previous years.
The B tech program in electronics and communication engineering through NIT Mizoram has higher cutoff through JEE MAIN than that of NIT Nagaland.
Also the fee structure for BTech in civil engineering program is lower in NIT Nagaland as in comparison to NIT Mizoram.
You can compare both the colleges in the link mentioned below. kindly visit and see what are the differences in both the colleges.

One of the important decisions that you have to take here is not between the colleges, but it is that which branch you want to go for, is it Electronics or is it civil. Both branches are very different from each other ECE branch is much more inclined towards circuit theories and coding a little bit. And the civil branch is much more incline towards designing and field work.
All the best!
Hi Dinakar,
Computer Science Engineering from NIT Nagaland will be the better option than pursuing EIE from NIT Silchar.
The placement statistics of Computer Science Engineering of NIT Nagaland is far better than EIE of NIT Silchar. Average package for CSE NIT Nagaland varies around 5-6 lakhs, whereas, for EIE NIT Silchar is less than 4 lakhs.
