National Eligibility cum Entrance Test
You got 305 marks in NEET 2025. You have passed the exam, because the qualifying marks are around 144. So you are eligible for counselling.
But to get a seat in a government MBBS college, your marks should be much higher. For general and EWS category, you need around 570 to 600 marks. For OBC category, you need around 530 to 580 marks. SC and ST students may get seats with 480 to 500 marks.
So with 305 marks, your chance of getting a government medical college is very low. It is almost not possible in All India Quota or state quota.
But you can still try for private or deemed universities. These colleges may accept students with 300 to 350 marks, especially in management or NRI quota. You can check with your state counselling authority or MCC website.

You got 510 marks in NEET 2025 with an all India rank of 40,936 and you have Gujarat domicile. You are from EWS category.
With 510 marks, your chances of getting admission in a government medical college in Gujarat are very low.
In Gujarat, the cut off marks for government medical colleges under the EWS category usually stays around 608 to 618 marks. Even in GMERS government colleges, the closing marks for EWS is about 607. So your score is much below the expected cut off.
That means you may not get admission in any MBBS government college in Gujarat through the state quota.
But since you qualified NEET, you can still apply for counselling and try for private or deemed medical colleges. You can also explore options like BDS, BAMS, BHMS or paramedical courses where the cut off is lower.
You should take part in Gujarat state counselling (ACPUGMEC) and fill all choices carefully. You can also try for private colleges or other courses in medical field.

Hi Shikha!
Thanks for your query. With 360 marks in NEET 2025, getting admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) is definitely possible, especially in private and some semi-government colleges.
BPT courses don't have centralized counselling like MBBS, but many colleges accept NEET scores and conduct institutional-level counselling or state-level paramedical counselling. Admission eligibility varies from 280 to 450 marks, depending on the state and college reputation.
With 360 marks, you can aim for: Private BPT colleges in Maharashtra, MP, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka and some colleges in Uttar Pradesh also accept NEET scores in this range.

With a NEET score of 418 and BC category, getting a management seat in PSG Medical College is possible but competitive. Cutoffs usually range between 410–450 for management quota. You may have a chance in mop-up or stray vacancy rounds. Keep backup options ready just in case.

Dear aspirant,
With an AIR rank of 4 lakh and OBC-NCL category rank of 1lakh getting a seat in private medical A category college through AIQ stray round is very unlikely , as cutoff ranks for even private seats are usually much lower. While your OBC-NCL category rank would be relevant in the state quota, a rank of 1 lakh is still likely to be beyond the cutoff for private A-Category seats in the SVU local area. Though Your SVU local status might provide a slight advantage within the state quota, but it's unlikely to overcome the large difference between your rank and the usual cut off ranks. Even in state mop up rounds there might be a slight chance but it's very difficult as the competition is extremely high. If you’re open to BDS or other allied health courses your chances improve.
You should definitely participate in both AIQ Stray vacancy and state mop up rounds as some vacant seats do go to higher ranks at the last moment. Keep checking the counselling portal regularly. Let's hope for the best.
Good luck!
According to NEET, you can get into following paramedical courses
