    Since you are from the general category so your category rank will do no good to you.you can appear for the councelling process on the basis of your common merit rank.based on your common merit rank ,the nift centres which you can get are-

    • Nift shillong
    • Nift kannur

    Hello,

    Yes, you can get admission in good NIFT colleges. You have scored write decent rank. It is difficult to get into good NIFT collges with your common merit rank, but you can land up in good NIFT centre with your category merit rank. There are some seats reserved for the reservation categories, you can get those seats.

    Yes,  you can get admission in NIFT colleges. You have scored a quire decent rank. With this rank you can probably get into good NIFT colleges. There are good chances of procuring seat in NIFT Delhi on the basis of your category rank.

    Hello,
    Ews scheme will be introduced only from this year.so I can't say much about that since we do not have any such previous year stats.but yes,otherwise you can definitely get a seat in nift.but since your rank is a bit high so chances of you getting into top nift centres are feeble.but you can easily get admission in nift srinagar ,Shillong, bhuvaneshvar.
    You can also appear for the second round of counselling,who knows you might land up in a better college with your desired course.

    Hello aspirant 

    Common merit rank is your All India Rank in that particular exam.General merit rank is your category rank for general category student. In NIFT there is reservation for OBC, SC and ST. But if a person has applied for a reserved category then despite getting higher rank he/she cant occupy the general seat. This goes for all the category. Thats
    why declaring general category rank (or any category rank) is important as there are specific seats reserved for all categories (including general) You get your counselling call on the basis of your CMR (Except in  case youre PwD). Person with higher CMR
    CMR of general category gets more  preference for choosing the college of
    his choice than the person with lower CMR of general category. Same goes with other categories too.

    Hello aspirant!

    I think many colleges have a provision of fee submission via DD that is a deman draft. All you need to do is to call your college and ask to whom the Demand Draft should be addressed. Then you can go to your bank in which you have an account and ask the manager to make you a DD. You need to write an application for making DD of the fee amount you have to pay and give it to the bank.

    Hello,

    Yes, you can get admission NIFT Bangalore. Your CMR rank is quite low for NIFT Bangalore because last year's cut off was 332 for obc category,  but you can land up in NIFT Bangalore on the basis of your category rank.
