    my cmr is 224 and category rank is 161 in genral, is there is any chance to get any college of nift in M.DES?

    Hello student as per your rank definitely you'll get a seat in Nift  as per source the total no of seats in MFM NiFts are 402.

    my CMR in nift is 5860. is there any chances of getting admission in nift in 1st or 2nd counselling????

    Hello,
    I assume that you are a genral candidate. So you can participate in the councelling process only on the basis of your common merit rank.
    Looking at the previous records. its really difficult for you to fetch a seat in any discipline in any of the nift centres in the first round of councelling. Many students choose to opt out from the college which they get . This leads to some  vacant seats in some of the nift centres. To fill these seats second round of councelling is conducted. You can register for the second round of councelling. Hopefully you might get a seat . But for general category at this rank it becomes a bit difficult.

    Hello,

    There are very less or no chance to get admission in any of the NIFT colleges. Your rank is too high to procure seat in any of the NIFT colleges. As per last year's record, the cut off was closed at 2600 for bdes. In FD. Anyways, you can try and apply for the counseling. There is loss in trying.

    in nift kolkata , the girls hostel does they provide on separate room for each student or they have to live as 2-3 students together ?

    Hello manisha generally in NIFT hostels girls have to share their rooms with one person. NIFT Kolkata provides well-secured Residential facilities to the outstation girl students coming from different regions of India / abroad. In the year 2012, NIFT Girls Hostel shifted to its own building with an area of 0.546 acre, at GE Block, Salt Lake, Kolkata within a distance of about 3 kilometers from the Academic campus.
    NIFT Kolkata is having Girls hostel which accommodates total 228 students [150 Non AC Seats & 78 AC Seats].The allotment of Girls hostel seats for new entrants (1st year/I Semester) is undertaken through lottery process based on the vacant seats available.

    Yes, there are very good chances for you to land up in best NIFT colleges. You have not mentioned the course which you want to pursue. The cut off varies a lot according to the course you choose.

    The home state quota will surely benefit you in procuring seat in NIFT Bhopal.

    The cut off also depend upon the course which you are opting for, the cut off vary according to the course.
