No, NIFT B. F. Tech has only one phase i.e. GAT (General Ability Test). Situation test or GD/PI are not conducted for the B.F.Tech programme. If you have qualified GAT with good rank then wait for the merit list and counseling.

Group  discussion and interview is compulsory for candidates joining in BF TECH in NIFT. The  rules may change but it is always advisable to be ready to face these situations during admission process. The topics will always be simple related to current affairs in group discussion. Examiners will chech on your vocabulary efficiency and interacting nature. Therefore candidates need not worry about the process. In interview also the questions will be very simple few may be real time situations and asking you about how you  will tackle the situation.

The process is going to be very simple and candidates need not be thretened by this.

Congratulations for Getting Such a Good RANK,U Have Got General category Rank(In All General candidate),But Admission In NIFT,Mostly Decided on  COMMON MERIT RANK,if U got C.M.L Under 700-800,Then u Have chances for Getting Seat In B.FTECH,and For B.DES U will Easily Get A Seat In Branches Like Leather/accessories..e.t.c,but In N.I.F.T,They Provide MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIP,If TOTAL STUDENT OF Each Department Is 60 then only 5 student will get that Scholarship,if they have Good Rank and also on First come first Serve basis.So,U Might Get MCMS Scholarship,which I have mentioned above.As well as
