To get scholarship from lpu for niftians, wht to do after qualified in lpunest?give a detailed answer.

Rishi Garg 28th Nov, 2019

After qualifying LPUNEST Exam, you have two options: one is to get admission in LPU with a great scholarship (on the basis of your rank in LPUNEST) and the other is to get Scholarship (Cash Prize) to study in other institutes (mentioned on LPU's website).

When the result are declared of LPUNEST, you will get to know about your rank in the LPUNEST exam. Then after the admission process is done in NIFT's (or other institutes like NITs, IITs, etc), they will select the top 10 candidates from all  NIFTs who have appeared for LPUNEST and those students will get scholarship.

For this, In the month of August, LPU releases a form to all the LPUNEST qualifiers to provide your Institutes details, documents, Bank Account Details, etc.

From all those, top 10 LPUNEST Qualifiers in each institute receives scholarship directly in their bank account after the verification of the submitted documents is done.

my cmr is 337 and Category rank is 46 can i get admission jn nift for m.des. and which in places i can get chance?

abhisheksingh19121999_6969616 Student Expert 13th Jun, 2019
Hello,
You have not mentioned your category anywhere.
Since you have secured a decent category rank so it must be a reserved category (because this is the case with categories like sc ,st ,obc.for general category the category rank is usually high).
If you are from a reserved category then you can participate in the counciling process on the basis of your category merit rank.
You can definitely get admission. In some of the nift centres for mdes program.
The centres which you can get are.
  • Nift gandhinagar
  • Nift bhopal
  • Nift kolkata
  • Nift bhuvneshwar
  • Night raebareli
  • Nift kannur
  • Nift kangra
  • Nift Shillong
  • Nift srinagar
Hope this helps
Good luck
