respected sir ihave doubt regarding an general issue that due to some inadvertency my attendance in national law universities is much short then there is some bit of problems are exist?

Anuj More 19th Jan, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

Attendance issues vary from university to university & if a candidate is unable to attend the college due to some reason, he/she has to produce appropriate certificate & reason for his/her absence. If you can convince the college of an genuine issue you had, better but if not, it'll get a bit messy. So kindly look into that.

Thanks.

is doing of law course in normal local colleges is different from doing law from National law universities is better for your future.if it is then how can I apply for law colleges but the application time is over then what colleges want to join.

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 31st Aug, 2020

Hey!

Yes definitely, doing undergraduate or post graduation law degree is affected by the college from which you are pursuing. See if you are doing law from a local college, there would be less opportunities but if you are doing from a reputed college then obviously number of opportunities provided by the college would be more. Also, during your placement, college name effects a lot. And as you said application process is over, then you can try next year. But you can check out different colleges by the link given below, also can check out their dates of application forms

Hope I answered your query

how many integrated courses are offered generally in nlus. In your opinion which one is the best course?

Sk Student Expert 31st May, 2020

Hi

As per your request in case of integrated course, a student has the chance to hide two courses under

one educational program . Since there are two courses combined, it's called an Integrated course. Some

samples of Integrated Law course programs are- B.A. L.L.B. (Combination of Bachelor of Arts and Law

programs), B.Com. L.L.B. (Combination of Bachelor of Commerce and Law programs), B.Sc. L.L.B.

(Combination of B.Sc. and Law programs) etc

Usually, Law (L.L.B.) program are often pursued only as a PG course. Yes, one must be a Graduate to

become eligible to pursue L.L.B. But since Integrated Law course covers a Bachelor’s Degree course too,

it are often pursued by students right after they complete 12th Standard Schooling.

So in our opinion If you're certain that you simply want to form a career in law, then the 5-year LLB

programme is that the best choice for you. This course won't only save one year of education as

compared to 3-year LLB programmes but also will offer an equivalent educational merit..

Hope helpful.

what are the National Law Universities in India have NRI quota admission for BA LLB course . What are the formalities to apply through NRI quota ?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 21st Dec, 2019

There are as many as 11 NLUs that have NRI quota for admission to their Integrated Law programmes. Once the CLAT applications are released on January 1st, 2020, if you want to be considered under NRI quota, you should fill the application under NRI/NRA Category. For being eligible to claim  NRI quota, either you should be a NRI or you should have  one of your parents or a legal guardian or a sponsor who is a NRI. Please go through this for admission process: https://nujs.edu/downloads/admissions2019/nri2019-notice.pdf

Can a graduate in BA English apply for CLAT and get admitted in NLUs if he/she is within the age limit

Sourav Sarkar Student Expert 17th Jul, 2019

Hi dear,

Hope you are doing well!

Now let's go through your question.

As you will be knowing that Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an All-India centralized examination that allows the students to get admission in the 21 National Law Universities in India for Law courses such as LLB and LLM.

Am sorry to say but you can't give CLAT PG as per as the Clat eligibility which says that:

  • You must have a three-year LLB degree or a three-year integrated LLB degree if equivalent LLB degree from a recognized University with 55% for General/ OBC/ SAP, and 50% for SC/ST.(aggregate marks)

Thank You & All the best!
