Akshita Dhiman 30th Jul, 2021

Hello aspirant,

I cannot predict your exact rank here, however, I can tell you this than 250 marks is a pretty average score. To get into Naval Architecture you need to score above way above 250.

The closing rank for the year 2016, 2015 at Department of Ship Technology,  Cochin University of Science and Technology was 150. To access previous years cut off ranks access the link below:

ritikaprasad.work 25th Sep, 2020

Hey there!

Naval architecture and ship building would be a good course for you if you are ready to handle the naval life. Your job would be in companies like oil companies and ship building and the navy so the life there could be a little rough so be prepared. Coming to placements, if you are studying the course from an IIT the placements are great but overall situation the placements are not so good from a lot of colleges so pick the college wisely. Hope this helps.
