however seat matrix is as follows,

Seats available: 43 [Includes 15 Sponsored seats (Indian Navy )]
Supernumerary seats: 2 INT, 2 TG, 1 SPQ.

Hey there!
Naval architecture and ship building would be a good course for you if you are ready to handle the naval life. Your job would be in companies like oil companies and ship building and the navy so the life there could be a little rough so be prepared. Coming to placements, if you are studying the course from an IIT the placements are great but overall situation the placements are not so good from a lot of colleges so pick the college wisely.
