NCERT
See its very hard to define problems from NCERT and not from NCERT in subjects like Biology. But as per the experts and the toppers, 98% of the question in NEET comes from NCERT Biology. Thus you can see that there is a very good number coming from NCERT. Now from the past year analysis the weightage have been defined based on subject.

Hay!
I hope you are fit and fine.
Now coming back to your question that is NCERT sufficient for IIT JEE and Main or not?
Before this answer me a question.
Are you clear with basics of subjects and topics of 11th and 12th?
If you are already good with basics then NCERT is sufficient for VITEE and also for JEE Main and JEE Advanced but for JEE Advanced you have to refer to some other tough books for problem solving and higher concepts too.
See, what i have seen generally is that in NCERT, there is not enough explanation if someone is beginning his/her some topics and there are many things which you might find not relevant toVIT exam or JEE exam and those are for board but if you are done with some basics, you can totally rely on NCERT and infact it can fetch you good marks.
Having said that you must not ignore the problem solving part and for this you will have to refer some goods books which are very popular in market and suitable for you.
I hope this answer helps you.
All the very best!!
Hello aspirant,
No, it is not possible. The glycosidic linkage formed is between two -OH groups, each of glucose and fructose. The numbering given is the same. The orientation of the molecule in the book is printed in such a way so that the reader can understand the glycosidic linkage formed from the C2 of the beta fructose. Hence, there is no change in the numbering.
I hope this information helps!
Thank you!

Yes with a score of 580+/720, being from SC Category you may definitely secure a seat in MBBS at AIIMS Kalyani. You will perhaps even have many other options, including some of the Best Government Medical Colleges in Kolkata, West Bengal under 85% Home State Quota. As far as Preparation is concerned, I wouldnt say securing 580 or anywhere above 550 is Tough, but you need a Proper Startegic Preparation. Strategic selection of study material, strategic routine for regular preparation as well as a strong test taking strategy is what'll lead to your success.

Dear Aspirant,
NO NCERT alone is not sufficient for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. NCERT might help build up basic concepts but to gain problem solving skills for questions of difficulty level asked in JEE Mains and Advanced some standard reference books might help. NCERT might help somewhat in JEE Mains but for Advanced it won't help as questions asked in JEE Advanced are highly conceptual and require good amount of problem solving skills, approach.
Some standard books that all IIT-JEE aspirants use can be found here-

Now coming to marks required,
See the exam pattern and total marks for JEE Advanced changes every year and students come to know about it on exam day only. Now it has been observed that scoring 30-40% of total marks of JEE Advanced paper 1 & paper 2 helps securing seat in IITs.Now considering sc category this much marks would surely help to get a good branch in top IITs.
