You should use these books for organic use Solomon's Fryhle, for inorganic use Sudarshan Guha's books and for physical chemistry use Atul Singhal. if you are done with this then go with Arihant publications. These are excellent books for cracking neet and jee chemistry. ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was some help.

Hello,
NCERT is definitely preferred for every subject, but it will be like icing on the cake if you can prefer some other good book too, for question practice.
Hope that helps;
Hello!
NCERT is the foundation for NEET syllabus. However, just studying NCERT is not enough. Because in NEET the questions are application oriented and numerical based. Such questions are not given in NCERT textbook. You need to refer to NEET materials and practice solving numerical questions. However, before doing that, refer to the NCERT chemistry textbook thoroughly as it provides the basic understanding of the concept. Also, some questions can be directly asked from the textbook.
You can use the NEET knockout package below given:

Hope this would help!
Based on my personal experience NCERT on fingertips is a very good book for MCQs based on the concept given in your NCERT especially biology. This holds true if you have already prepared and know the NCERT thoroughly. If yes the book will be of immense help. The number of questions varies for each chapter, it can range anywhere from 50 to more than 100.
@ AANCHAL WADHWANI you can study the books of your state. You can go through sst books of class 9th and 10th of your state boards and do some important topics from NCERT and about the topics related to ancient history you should prefer the state boards books of class 8th or you can just download the pdf for the topics of ancient india. Hello.
These books are very good for the preparation of JEE Mains and JEE Advance . But I personally advice you to do practice all the questions from those books that you have , whenever you have a confidence as well as time then you should move to other reference books for practice . Basically and most important you must have read NCERT books for these competitive exam.
Hey Udhaya,
NTSE (National Talent Search Examination) is conducted by the State Government and NCERT for class 10th students. You should be the student of Class 10 to be eligible to participate in NTSE.
For NTSE, all the syllabus (Science, Maths, Social Sciences) is from the NCERT Curriculum of 9th and 10th Standards.
So you have to read only NCERT books for preparation of NTSE. You should also have basic knowledge from previous standards so as to make your base clear.
Hope that this is the required information you needed.
Good luck with your preparations!!!
