NCERT
Hello student,
Question paper of NEET comprises of 3subjects. Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
As years are passing upto this year trend shows an increased coverage from NCERT books. So it is highly advised to go through NCERTs. However for reference there are several of them for all the subjects. Refer to the article for all suggested books. https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-preparation-tips

Dear Student ,
Yes , There is a paragraph containing description about a scientist generally in the beginning of every chapter in biology NCERT . It contains its biography , his discoveries and whatever he has done to mankind and much more .
In NEET there are very less chances , that they will ask some question from that paragraph , but sometimes 1 question came like this : Who is father of Genetics ? , Discoverer etc . So you must read this paragraph at least one time .
They will not ask these type of questions everytime , but still it has some chances to came in exam .
Hope it helps !

NEET 2021 will be conducted with a reduced and revised syllabus and we do not know what topics might be deleted or what topics might be retained. But CBSE has revised its syllabus for Class 11 and 12 and so sticking to those topics might help you in your NEET preparation because NEET syllabus is loosely based on Academic syllabus. If you are preparing for NEET from home, you can try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . So until MHRD or NTA announce the official NEET 2021 syllabus, sticking to NCERT is the best strategy.
For EMCET you should first go through NCERT books as they are the foundation and will help you clear your basics. Do read NCERT line by line. Chapter having bold words and side notes is important so keep high focus on it.
yes because it includes all kinds of best knowledge based examples
Hey!
Firstly, before you start with your preparation just go through the syllabus first and then plan accordingly.
Physics, Chemistry, and Maths are three main subjects which are covered in jee advance exam. so, you have to focus on each subject equally. DO NOT focus on only one subject.
whatever you have studied in class 11 and 12 is very important for jee advance. keep revising those concepts and keep practicing exam as it will help you alot in JEE advanced preparation. NCERT books are the best source of preparation for your exam. but along with that other books are also important from exam point of view.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, Keep practicing previous year question papers. you can also register yourself for online mock tests. Practice as much as you can.
- PHYSICS: physics mainly focuses on - waves and sounds, capacitors and electrostatics, fluids, mechanics and electromagnetism (this part is important) , heat and thermodynamics ( numerical based on basic laws), electromagnetic.
BOOKS: 1. DC PANDEY's understanding physics
2. HC VERMA'S concept of physics
- CHEMISTRY: Go through your NCERT again and again for chemistry. along with that, Organic chemistry covers your 40-45% of questions where mostly questions are applied. along with that, qualitative Analysis, Chemical equilibrium in physical chemistry( learn the formulas in this part), coordination chemistry and chemical bonding in inorganic chemistry ( understand concepts ).
BOOKS: 1. for inorganic chemistry your NCERT books are enough. you can also refer JD Lee for metallurgy and qualitative analysis.
2. For Physical chemistry you can refer GRD books by OP tandon (for both practical and theory questions)
3. For Organic chemistry you can take help from Arihant (theory) and advance problems in organic chemistry by himanshu pandey.
3. MATHEMATICS : Maths requires a lot of practice for perfection. keep solving questions and you can easily handle this part in your exam. some important topics are, Complex numbers, probability, Matrices in algebra, definite integral in calculus, circle , parabola, hyperbola in coordinate geometry, functions, continuity and differentiability, functions, vectors and 3D geometry, Quadratic equations and expresssions.
BOOKS: You can refer cengage's mathematics , Arihant (for calculus) or differential and integral calculus by N. piskunov, advance problems in jee.
you can also refer Arihant 39, Practice previous year question papers. you can also take help from video lectures but do not refer different youtube channels or sources otherwise you'll get confused.
Before everything, just remember that you dont have to stress yourself . Eat well, Keep yourself Well Hydrated and do not refer end number of books. just a few days are left for your exam so try practice as much as you can. DO NOT PANIC , just practice and as much as you can . Quantity doesn't matter Quality matters. so, Hard work and Smart work both are important.
All the best!
Dear Aspirant,
Yes if you want to score above 300 in NEET then NCERT is good but NCERT only clears the basic concepts. As you know you need to have a detailed study to be 100% sure.So to be confident i will recommend you to even use other books such as biology volume 1 and 2 by trueman, pradeep guide on biology, objective biology by dinesh.Apart from this,i will recommend you to solve number of MCQ questions and mock test.
Thank you
