Hello Chandan,

Firstly you go with Ncerts because Ncerts are the books which are referred by UPSC aspirants for Physics so it is the best book.

Talking about strategy you can watch online videos and explain the term or the main point and then write down in your own preferred way this will make you remind the main points.

Also you can try out online physics test which are many on internet and try to solve old questions which will make you know the exam pattern and how much you are prepared.

for neet biology preparation 2020, is it enough to learn from ncert, or we need to refer other books?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 28th Aug, 2020
Hi

NCERT Biology book is enough for you for your NEET examination .
This is because, in your NEET Biology section almost 95% or more of the questions are from the concepts of NCERT. NCERT biology is not less than a bible for neet examination.

You could follow some some reference books like True man biology for some topics which are difficult to understand from NCERT, but even if you have completed your NCERT well you are all good you don't need to worry just focus on practicing MCQs now and revision.

Also, very less time is left for your Neet 2020 examination and now you should not go for reading a new book rather just focus on your revision , go through mock test paper sample papers and previous year question papers of neet as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

Thank you

how much can i score if i read only ncert in neet biology??

S. Saha Student Expert 28th Aug, 2020
Almost 95% questions in Neet are directly asked from NCERT Textbooks as NCERT books are the best study materials written in simple Language for having a clear conception over all the topics. If you read all the topics line by line properly you can expect good score in Biology Section of Neet. Rather all the experts recommend to start with NCERT Textbooks and then move on to some standard reference books cause these books have previous year exam papers, or sample papers for solving or already solved.

There are numerous books for medical aspirants in the market but always be wise to choose. But not only NCERTs, other books such as Pradeep Guide on Biology, Biology Vol 1 and Vol 2 by Trueman, Objective Biology by Dinesh etc are mostly chosen by Neet aspirants. Biology is the most important part amonv the three and carries more marks so prepare it well and give mock test. Then find out your weak areas and work on them.

is ncert enough for neet biology

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 28th Aug, 2020
Hello

Yes dear, NCERT Biology book is enough for you for your NEET examination .
This is because, in your NEET Biology section almost 95% or more of the questions are from the concepts of NCERT. NCERT biology is not less than a bible for neet examination.

But yes just reading NCERT Biology will not help you, as in NEET examination questions are asked in the form of MCQs so you need to practice lots of MCQs in order to score good marks , and you need to master NCERT to the level that it is at your fingertips.

You can go for a books like NCERT at your fingertips by mtg for Biology, it has topic wise questions it helps you in mastering NCERT in a systematic manner

In the NEET abhyas mock test some biology questions are beyond the textbook .will they ask in NEET 2020 main exam also ????if yes, give some ts to cover it!! how much % will ncert biology will cover...

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 26th Aug, 2020

98% of the questions are always asked from NCERT. The rest 2% is asked from other books. Topics like Frog and Earthworm though have not been in NCERT have been asked in the previous years. Now it is too late to buy any book to cover those subjects. So stick to NCERT and then practise atleast 1 mock test a day. That way you will have prepared atleast 15 mock tests until September 15th and you will also be prepared for our of NCERT books questions.

How many questions will directly come from ncert( biology of neet exam). And how many questions will be out of ncert?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th Aug, 2020

NTA conducts NEET in offline mode which means the question papers are not released and so it is difficult to check which questions have been asked from which book. But in general 98% of the questions in NEET come from NCERT books alone. But based on previous years of paper analysis weightage has been calculated for each topic. Human Physiology and Genetics have maximum weightage in NEET. Diversity of Living Organisms has 14% weightage. Structural Organisationi n Plants and Animals takes 5%. Plant Physiology has 6% and Cell Structure and Function has 9%. Human Physiology has 20% weightage. Reproduction chapter has 9% and Genetics and Evolution has 18% weightage. Biology and Human Welfare has 9% weightage. Biology and its application has 4% weightage and Ecology and Environment has 6% weightage.

Is ncert enough for bio. (neet exam)

Shivanshi Singh 24th Aug, 2020

hello Shubha,

Hope you are doing well

NCERT book is complete guide to each and evry concept and if you are referring NCERT for NEET then go through it thoroughly understand each and evry topics and concept . Do not leave any topic From book Because sometimes direct questions are asked from the book itself , practice previous year papers too through which you can know types of question asked and you can manage your time accordingly.

Good luck

thankyou
