sir i got 38 percentile in january mains for maths can some sums in ncert

rehan18alam Student Expert 18th May, 2020

Dear aspirant,

from your question it appears that you want to know that whether the math NCERT is enough for you to get good marks in maths section of jee main.

NCERT textbooks not enough for preparing for JEE exam. You have to use other important books like RD Sharma, RS Aggarwal, Arihant previous year question papers, etc.

in the remaining time however I suggest you must go with the previous year question papers and solve those papers completely first try to solve in the time limit and then see for your mistakes and then solve the complete paper do this with at least 20 question papers till the exam date which is 18 to 23 July 2020.

Hope this helps. Thank you

does questions from ncert exercises comes in jee mains chemistry directly

Shivang Dubey 26th Jun, 2020

Hey Uzma

NCERT books especially for Chemistry is a very good resource for JEE Mains, if a candidate reads the book thoroughly and gets the concepts perfectly along with solving all questions/exercises in the book then getting through JEE Mains question won't be difficult for the candidate.

But it is very rare that questions from NCERT directly appear in JEE Mains. This has been experienced very rarely by students in the past few years, the concepts and methods may match but getting a directly copied question is very difficult to find in JEE mains paper.

For further doubts, ask us.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 16th May, 2020
Maseer, if it is for NEET, you can try the following books:

NCERT Chemistry textbooks for Class XI and XII
Physical Chemistry by OP Tandon
ABC of Chemistry for Classes 11 and 12 by Modern
Concise Inorganic Chemistry by JD Lee
Dinesh Chemistry Guide
Practise books by VK Jaiswal, MS Chauhan and N Awasthi

Instead of these many books, you can try our Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/

Is NCERT maths textbook of cls 11 nd 12 required for jee mains 2021?? wht are uses of those books??? wht percentage of ques directly picked from ncerts ????? pls give reply....

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 16th May, 2020
Hello,

You should cover NCERT for in-depth understanding of concepts. There is not any specific topics in NCERT from which questions come in JEE.Questions in JEE mains are very different from what you study in class 11 and 12. You should cover ncert and then you can move on to books like RD Sharma and RS Aggarwal and finally you can refer to TMH publications books, you must also solve past year question papers.

I hope this helps.

is ncert is necessary to prepare neet of organic and inorganic chemistry?

Devanshi Adhikari 16th May, 2020

Hello aspirant,

When preparing for NEET exam it is very important to study the NCERT properly as it is the basic foundation of the NEET paper. Without the basic knowledge you wont be able to understand the complex things the reference books will teach you. It also covers up all the basic information in a detailed manner which the guide books sometimes fail to provide.

Hope this helped.

All the best!

Thank you.

is ncert chemistry enough for jee main?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th May, 2020

Hi

NCERT is good for JEE MAINS , especially for starting your preparation for JEE mains as it is very good book for clearing basic concepts ,inorganic part of the NCERT is very important and somewhat sufficient for JEE mains but when it comes to organic and physical chemistry then it is not sufficient you will have to take the help of reference books for better understanding of concepts so that you can solve MCQs or the questions asked in JEE Mains examination.

You can follow below books:-

CHEMISTRY:-

Ncert Chemistry for class XI and XII
Physical Chemistry by OP Tondon
Numerical Chemistry by P.Bahadur
Organic chemistry by OP Tondon

Is ncert bio is enough for neet to score good marks?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 11th May, 2020
Hi Padmeja

Yes dear, NCERT Biology book is enough for you for getting good score in your NEET examination .
This is because, in your NEET Biology section almost 95% or more of the questions are from the concepts of NCERT.

But yes just reading NCERT Biology will not help you,  as in NEET examination questions  are asked in the form of MCQs so you need to practice lots of MCQs in order to score good marks , and you need to master NCERT to the level that it is at your fingertips.

You can go for a books like NCERT at your fingertips by mtg for Biology, it has topic wise questions it helps you in mastering NCERT in a systematic manner

You can prepare well using our neet knockout for which link is provided below

sir ,i have 8 years old Ncert of bio is this is sufficient? or take New Ncert of bio

Apoorva Lohumi 11th May, 2020

Hey student

The NCERT syllabus usually does not change too frequently like the private publications' books.

But the improvements and new questions are updated from time to time in NCERT books.

So, I'd suggest you to go to official website of NCERT and find out the biology eBook. From there, you can match the content of the latest book with the old book you own, and if they match, you can use that book only.

NCERT website (https://ncert.nic.in/ebooks)

Hope this will help.
