any government college possible for 550 marks in neet 2022 through EWS category?

rajeevanand843 28th Jul, 2022

Dear aspirant

To get govt MBBS seat in 15% AIQ counseling is quite tough for you at your expected marks as last year cut off marks was almost around 20k all india rank and 600+ marks.

Now as your profile suggest you are from maharastra, so in state counseling of Maharashtra it's very hard to say anything confirm about your chances as if we look last two year cut off marks then nothing can be said

Neet 2021 -557 marks in GMC gondia for EWS

Neet 2020 - 568 marks in GMC gondia for EWS

So as you can see last year cut off marks decrease, so it's depends on many factors specially on your all india rank,if it stays below 35-36k in neet2022 at your expected marks then you might have sure shot in govt medical College in Maharashtra state quota counseling.

sir mera 450 mark hai neet 2022 me kaun sa course milega

pdwords Student Expert 28th Jul, 2022

Hello,

From your profile it seems you belong to UP, and I believe you're enquiring about NEET, you haven't mentioned your category, I'm assuming your category is UR as you haven't mentioned the same,

if we go through previous year cut-offs under 85% state quota then with 450 marks you may have chances for MBBS in private medical colleges such as

  • Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki-404 marks
  • Subharti Medical College, Meerut-416 marks
  • Muzaffarnagar Medical College, Muzaffarnagar-385 marks
  • Rohilkhand Medical College and Hospital, Bareilly-388 marks
  • Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences, Hapur-377 marks
  • Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi-354 marks
  • Rama Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Kanpur-347 marks
  • Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Sitapur-325 marks
  • KD Medical College Hospital and Research Center, Mathura-308 marks
  • Rama Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Hapur-307 marks
  • Mayo Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki-305 marks

however, this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjected to alter every year based on various factors such as

  • total number of candidates appearing for the exam
  • difficulty level of the paper
  • top NEET scores
  • reservation
  • seat matrix, etc..

Can I expect a government mbbs seat with 520 marks in neet 2022 from obc category bihar after implementation of 50% fee reduction in private colleges?

Karishma Sawhney 27th Jul, 2022

Hello aspirant,

I am listing below the last year cut off for government colleges in various states and JIPMER colleges for your category-

Assam- 462

Bihar- 606

Chattisgarh- 534

JIPMER Karaikal- 614

JIPMER Puducherry- 685

Gujarat- 540

Himachal Pradesh- 501

Tamil Nadu- 539

Telangana- 516

As there is a difference of 6-10 marks in your marks and the cut off as can be seen above,  you have fair chances of getting a government college (it might go up to stray round as well considering the cut-throat competition)

Since we do not have the cut off for government quota in private colleges as it is the first time it will happen, it is difficult to predict anything.

what happens if i bubbled answer code wrong and strike it down and again did bubbling will my omr get rejected in neet 2022 exam

Aakanksha 27th Jul, 2022
Hi aspirant
See, if you've filled a wrong bubble and then crossed it and then again filled a bubble, you will get no marks for that question. It will be counted as a wrongly marked answer. You can even get 1 mark deducted from your total score with respect to the negative marking the exam has.
Now talking about your omr sheet, No it will not get rejected just because you have filled 2 bubbles instead of one in one question. There's nothing to worry about.
Hope this helps
All the best:)

i m expecting 599 in neet 2022 and i m from obc category which college will i get

rajeevanand843 27th Jul, 2022

Dear aspirant

You haven't mentioned your domicile state as your profile suggest you are from Rajasthan State hope this is your domicile state.

Rajasthan is quite a competitive state and due to large number of candidates cut off marks for neet always get high in the state counseling and it's even higher than AIQ counseling. You may have tough chance to get you govt MBBS seat in rajasthan state quota counseling although you have chances for payment seats (7.5 lakhs fee) in govt medical College of Rajasthan.

Although we compare to last year cut off marks in AIQ counseling then you are nearly same line as it was 597+ marks in stray vaccancy round counseling so as per now it's very hard to say anything confirm about govt MBBS seat. If your rank stays below 20k then you will have sure chances.

In AIQ counseling, you might get these colleges at your expected marks

ZORAM MEDICAL COLLEGE Falkawn

Government Medical College, Nilgiris

Government medical College, Namakkal

Government medical College,tiruppur

Government Medical College, Virudhunagar

Is that any chance neet 2022 bracket of marks between 400 to 500 will reduce substantially due to paper difficulty level.

Aditya 14th Aug, 2022

Hello Ramesh,

NEET 2022 paper difficulty level was moderate this time. The same difficulty level was of previous year also i.e. NEET 2021.

If you look for NEET 2021 cut offs, it was approx 590 out of 720 for General Category in MCC AIQ Counselling. However you haven't mentioned your Category, then this marks will vary.

Coming back to NEET 2022 cut off, this year, as experts says that Biology was little towards tough side. So, cut off will decrease from last year, but not in between 400 to 500 definitely .

Expected cut off for NEET 2022 (General Category) :- 575 to 580

score around 430 in neet 2022. I belongs to obc & ward of ex servicemen. can I get free sheet in any government or private college? which colleges having less fee under payment seat?

Namita Goyal 31st Aug, 2022

Hello, College allotment depends on the cutoff of Colleges. As the previous cutoffs are very high, Getting MBBS College at 430 Marks must be very difficult. Expected cutoffs for Gen or OBC Category is 550+ for government college. But since you have an ex-servicemen quota you might get a seat in a government college although not the top ones.
