I belong to OBC NCL category and I am expecting around 450 in neet 2022 .Is that I have chance to get in to government colleges or private colleges in government quota.

Karishma Sawhney 27th Jul, 2022

Hello aspirant

According to the previous year cut off, an OBC category candidate scored 539 marks to fetch a seat in government medical colleges in Tamil Nadu, which is your domicile state.

When we look at the cut off's of other states too, they go as stated under, for OBC category-

Maharashtra- 554

Punjab- 550

Madhya Pradesh- 545

West Bengal- 574

Rajasthan- 630

Uttar Pradesh- 597

Bihar- 606

So you can see you have very low chances of getting into a government college, or even securing government quota in private colleges. However, you do have chances of getting the following private and deemed colleges-

Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi- 397

Hind Medical College, Sitapur- 398

Muzzafarnagar Medical College- 398

BLDE University, Bijapur- 367

You can also use the college predictor tool to know your chances of admission in a college/course- https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor

Hope it helps!

250 in neet 2022 can i get seats under which course

nigamaastha1 27th Jul, 2022

Hello

If you scored 250 marks in NEET enterance exam then I suggest you to go for BAMS course which is eligible for you, according to your marks scored in NEET-UG.

Because BAMS required 113 marks in NEET UG for General catagory and for ST/SC/OBC marks required is 86 marks.

So, You can easily go for a course in BAMS government colleges in which counseling procedure is done in 2 Catagories such as

1. All india Quota AIQ with 15% seats for reservation criteria students such as ST/SC/OBC which is more than unreserved students like General catagory

2. State Quota in which remaining 85% seats available which varies from state to state.

1. Number of seats available.

2. Difficulty level of the exam.

4. Caste Category of the students.

It is difficult to get free seat for your NEET UG score based on previous year's cut-offs.

You can go through below mentioned link to know NEET UG previous year's cut-offs.

i am geeting 460 marks in neet 2022. is there any government mbbs college which i can get with these marks i am in jain minority and general category

Sanjana 27th Jul, 2022

Hey aspirant

As you belongs to general category 460 mark is not enough to get admission in government medical college. You need to score minimum 600+to get admission in government medical college.  This is based on previous year cut off. This could change depending on level of exam number of candidates appeared, number of seats available etc. For more details refer below link https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp

i want to pursue career in bca it field but i got late for this year bca admission in colledges in pune and even dropped last year after my 12 class for neet exam but my performance in neet 2022 is so bad, so should i wait for another year to get admission in good bca college next year ?

Adeeba 3rd Aug, 2022

Dear ketan

As you have already mentioned that you are late for bca admission,it means you don't have chance to get a college of your choice.

So according to my opinion you should wait for 1 year and also in this time period you should also prepare for neet 2023,with hard work and good luck may be you got good marks and alot a seat in good college.

Don't waste your time, you have time do something creative.

scoring 568 in neet 2022 and from obc category.. any chances of getting mbbs?

Aakanksha 26th Jul, 2022
Hi aspirant
See, at this score the odds of you getting a seat in a government medical college are almost nil.
You can check the previous trends also. Let me help you with that.
The All India Rank at score 568 for NEET 2021 was around AIR 42k-43k
At this rank it is not possible for any OBC category candidate to fetch a seat in any government medical/dental college.
You have not mentioned what state you belong to, so I can't be too precise with the information. For further information, you can mention your state too.

You can predict your rank for NEET 2022 using our rank predictor by the following link.
https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp

You can also predict your college using our college predictor with the link provided here.
https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

You can however opt for admission to private medical/dental colleges if your finances allow. You can easily fetch a seat there under the deemed/paid seats quota.
Hope this answers your query
Best wishes:)

i get 220 marks in neet 2022 and i dont want to drop. which line should i select?

nigamaastha1 26th Jul, 2022

Hello

If you scored 220 marks in NEET and you don't want to take a drop year then you should go for BAMS- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery course which is good for you and it's duration is 5.5 years and Admission taken on the basis of NEET enterance examination marks.

So eligibility criteria for Admission is you have scored minimum marks required for General catagory is 113 marks and for OBC/ST/SC catagory is 86 marks required in NEET.

I suggest you this course because in other courses you need to score more than that like 350+ or 400+ and also you don't want to take a drop year so, according to your marks you can go for it BAMS government colleges.

Admissions taken in 2 Catagories like 1. All India Quota AIQ with is for reservation criteria students like OBC/ST/SC  more than unreserved students like General catagory.

2. State Quota seats in which remaining 85% seats available which varies from state to state.
