will obc get seat in neet 2022 with 470 marks

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Jul, 2022

Hi

It is difficult to make prediction as cut off keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like

------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,

------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

------------)  toughness level of the neet examination

------------)  number of seats available

------------) the category you are from etc

Anyway,

when we go through previous year trends

>>>>>> With 470 marks,

You have low chances for mbbs in government colleges

But yes,

You have  chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below:-

---------) SBKS Med. Inst. and Res. Centre, Sumandeep  Vadodara:- 446 marks

----------) Yenepoya Manglaore:-436 marks

----------) Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar:- 426 marks

----------) B.L.D.E University, Bijapur:- 387 marks

----------) MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai:- 380 marks

And  a few more

This has been  predicted on the basis of previous years data  but  cutoff keeps changing so to have clear picture of the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

I am getting around 120 Marks in neet 2022 from obc category will i qualify?..

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Jul, 2022

Hi

Qualifying cut off marks has not been released yet, for the same we need to wait for neet results.

It is difficult to predict because cut off  depends upon various factors like

------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,

------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

------------)  toughness level of the neet examination

------------)  number of seats available

------------) the category you are from etc

But yes,

When we go through previous data then

Neet 2021 qualifying cutoff  for different categories is : -

.                   NEET 2021 CUT OFF

Category      percentile  Cut off marks

General/ EWS     50th      720-138

General-PH        45th       137-122

SC                       40th         137-108

ST                         40th          137-108

OBC                      40th           137-108

SC/ST/OBC-PH   40th        121-108

From above,

You can see in neet 2021 , for obc category at least 108 marks was required to qualify neet.

So, with your marks chances are good to qualify neet 2022

After results,

If you managed to qualify then,

To get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

Neet qualifying marks for last year is 50th percentile for Gen category which was 138 marks and for OBC/SC/ST is 40th percentile was 107 marks.

So you will have to wait till the results get declared to know that you are qualified neet exam or not

If you get qualified then yes you can admission in private bams or BHMS college. Sometimes they lower the qualifying marks if seat doesn't filled.

Can I get into GMC in NEET 2022 WB general with 586 through state quota?

rajeevanand843 19th Jul, 2022

Hello aspirant

West Bengal state quota counseling cut off marks for Gen category students in neet 2021 was AIR 32740 in coochbehar govt medical College.

Also there are news that six new medical College may open this year in west bengal so definitely cut off not gonna rise, there are more probability it will decrease only

So now if i compare your marks with last year cut off marks, you are in very safe zone and you have high chance of getting govt MBBS college in West Bengal state counseling.

You can check previous year cut off marks for your state from link below

400 Marks in neet 2022.which pvt college can I get

Rupali negi 19th Jul, 2022

Hey ,

That's a quite decent score when it comes to scoring in such competitive exams like NEET. With a score of 400 in the NEET Exam, you can get an MBBS seat, However, you need 400+ marks to get admission into a government medical college.

400 score is a decent score to get a MBBS admission in the NEET Counselling under a private college.

If your score is 400 or 400+ then you should apply under Deemed University counselling which is conducted by MCC.

Then you can attend the KEA counselling which is Karnataka state counselling body. They allow even non Karnataka candidates to take part in the counselling.

Yes you can take part in your state counselling too and should be able to get a seat.

As far as private medical colleges fee is concerned it varies from state to state and college to college. As of now minimum fee in private college is around Rs. 6.16 Lakhs per annum.

Even you can get a seat in good deemed medical college. Fee of deemed medical colleges varies from 12 Lakhs per annum to 25.75 Lakhs per annum.

Apart from that there are a number of good reputed private colleges as mentioned below:

  • BVDU Medical College, Pune
  • Dr DY Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai.
  • Yenepoya Medical College.
  • MGM Medical College, Aurangabad

can I get a government college of BAMS with 420 marks in neet 2022 of sc category ?

rajeevanand843 19th Jul, 2022

Dear aspirant

Neet 2021 cut off marks for BAMS in govt college in all india Ayush counseling went upto AIR 166044 and 421 marks for sc category in second round of counseling. It would have decreased in further mop-up and stray vaccancy round.

AS if we compare then your marks is 420 which is on border line almost, so if cut off stay same then you have good chance of getting govt BAMS seat in all india Ayush counseling.

Usually state quota cut of marks goes lower then all india Ayush counseling, so you will have better chance there so you can try for that.

You can use college predictor tool for knowing chance of you getting admission in various MBBS BDS or ayush medical College. Link is below
