Hi, I am from Tamil Nadu state and I am expected to get 456 Marks in NEET 2022, what are the options available for me. I belongs to General category.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Jul, 2022

Hi

It is difficult to make prediction as cut off keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like

------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,

------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

------------)  toughness level of the neet examination

------------)  number of seats available

------------) the category you are from etc

Anyway,

when we go through previous year trends

>>>>>> With  456 marks,

You have low chances for mbbs in government colleges

You can check previous year Tamilnadu neet cut off at:-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-tamil-nadu

But yes,

You have  chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below:-

----------) Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar

----------) B.L.D.E University, Bijapur

----------) MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai

----------) Institute of Medical Sciences and SUMH, Bhubaneswar

----------) Sri Siddhartha Medical College DU, T Begur

And  a few more

This has been  predicted on the basis of previous years data  but  cutoff keeps changing so to have clear picture of the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

l got 130 Marks in neet 2022 can l get private bams college in Maharashtra OBC category

Sanjana 19th Jul, 2022

Hey aspirant

According to previous year sources neet cut off for obc will be between 133-107 . As you have 130 marks, you have a good chance for achieving cut off. But getting admission for bams this mark is not enough. You need to get 490+ to get admission in government bams college. For private colleges minimum 300+ is needed. As you belongs to general category you need to score 610+ to get admission in government medical colleges. For the above mark you could get admission in some private medical colleges or deemed colleges. For 532 mark your expected rank is between 60k and 70k. Sir i want to ask that i am scoring 518 marks in neet 2022 acc to allen answer key should i go to take bams in delhi or drop for next year plz help me soon

Aditya 28th Aug, 2022

Your score of 518 is really appreciable but as you also know that it's not sufficient for you to get a MBBS Seat in any Government Medical Colleges until and unless you belong to any Minority.

Talking about your question of taking drop or not, then I am strongly recommending you to go for a Year Drop rather than moving on to the other courses like BDS or BAMS.

Taking a drop gives you an another opportunity to again prepare yourself so well that you can answer any question asked in your exam and grab your MBBS Seat in your dream medical college.

  1. You just have to keep practicing MCQs with taking less time within 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  2. Read NCERT textbooks as much as possible. Minimum is 3 times atleast.
  3. Clear all your concepts and doubts.
  4. Learn from your mistakes and don't repeat those again, etc.

  2. Government Ayurved College and Hospital, Nagpur
  3. State Ayurvedic college and Hospital, Lucknow
  4. Podar Ayurved Medical College, Mumbai
  5. CSJMU Kanpur - Chhatrapati Shahu ji Maharaj University
  6. KUHS Thrissur - Kerala University of Health Sciences
  7. Government Ayurvedic College Hospital, Patna
  8. Government Ayurved College, Nanded
