Hello Arpita,
Your marks of 495 out of 720 in NEET (UG) 2022 examination is unfortunately not making you eligible to get any MBBS Seat in Odisha. This absolutely doesn't mean that your score is poor. 495 is really a good score but here in NEET you have to face a very tough competition.
You just lack around 70 to 100 marks to get MBBS seat in Odisha Government Medical Colleges. Since this marks difference is very little, you should definitely go for a Year Drop . This will boost your preparation as now you already have a better experience.
Just be more concentrated and reduce your silly mistakes. Study more wisely and smartly and you will definitely crack NEET.
Here are some Tips for you to ace in NEET 2023 :-

You also have an option to go for Government Dental Colleges or BAMS, BHMS, BPT, etc. But, I will strongly recommend you to go for Drop because trust me you deserve MBBS Seat in Government Medical College.
If you want to go for BDS, there is only one Government BDS College in Odisha :-
You can get more details about this college from here :-

Hello aspirant,
If we talk about private medical colleges in Karnataka, then the cut off for state quota candidates was 342 marks and the college allotted was Dr. Dayanand Chandramma Sagar Institute of Medical Sciences. When it comes to Deemed medical colleges in Karnataka, the cut off was as follows-
BLDE University, Bijapur- 362
JSS Medical College- 435
KS Hegde Medical Academy- 429
Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgavi- 416
As you can see, to get private or a deemed medical college in Karnataka state, you require 400+ marks. At a score of 250, you can only get a few deemed medical colleges, but not in Karnataka.
You can also use the NEET UG 2022 College Predictor tool to know your chances of admission in a college/ course- https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor

Hi aspirant....!
Hope you're doing great...!
So, with regard of you're query. Well done for getting 450; that's not bad. Up to a score of 720. The talent is nearly universally present, but it is almost universally wasted. Only a limited few people excel. Just remember that there are no shortcuts to NEET; you must put in the required effort.
I can't give you some magical piece of advice that will instantly make you work and perform well since you are unique. When preparation, choose your own way, have self-assurance, and recognize your own needs. You will be able to recognize if you are on the right route if you are well-prepared. Under state quota, there is a slight possibility that the cutoff will drop. As at the previous date, the saving zone is 500+ year's deadline.
GOOD LUCK....!
Hello Siddhi,
First of all the chances of getting Bonus in any of the questions of NEET examination is very negligible . National Testing Agency (NTA) never gives this opportunity as all the questions are cross checked many times. There may be some controversies between students and NTA, but NTA usually and always declines the students point by giving or not giving some reasons.
Although, if students are fortunate enough, then only there comes 1 or maximum 2 Bonus Question which are considered.
Coming to your question, Bonus Questions are always considered for all the students , irrespective that student had attempted it or not. Also, there may happen with some questions that 2 Options are correct for a particular question. Then, only those students will get marks who have attempted either of the 2 Options . Other students will not be benefited.
