Hello,

I would help you with your query, with the previous year available counseling data.

Now, According to last year data for NEET 2022, an aspirant scoring 587 Marks had AIR around 24,800.

------- According to previous year data for State COUNSELING, last candidate from General Category to get MBBS seat in Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences had AIR around 17,451 and marks 603.

------ So, if we consider this data, then cut off for OBC Category Candidate is definitely going to be less than General Category Candidate. So you can expect it to be around 10-12 marks less than General Category Candidate. So you can expect seat in the college by 3rd Round of Counseling.

------ Also, to predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every year during Counseling depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2022 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2022

my neet score is 585 approx in neet 2022 is there any possibility to get a govt medical college thruogh AIQ or SQ or semi govt medical college this year category ews amd state rajasthan please answer asap

Karishma Sawhney 18th Aug, 2022

Hello aspirant

If we look at the previous year's cut off for the EWS category for Rajasthan's state quota, it was 592 marks for the EWS MALE category and the college allotted was Government Medical College, Dungarpur. Since your score is near to the cut off score of previous year, you might have a chance of getting a seat in a government college of your state. However since the results aren't out yet, it is difficult to predict anything.

Based on your score you have a chance of getting the following government colleges in Andhra Pradesh-

Government Medical College, Srikakulum

Sri Venkateshwara Medical College, Tirupati

Siddartha Medical College, Vijayawada

Please note that the cut-off varies every year depending on various factors such as the category of the student, number of students attempting the paper, number of newly opened colleges etc.

I have Expected approx 485 marks in NEET 2022 , what are the chances of getting MBBS seats in all india basis, though domicile of Rajasthan

Narayani 17th Aug, 2022

You have not mentioned your category which would have been a clear indicator of what your chances might be. Assuming you are general, your chances at a Government medical college are unlikely. However, the marks can get you one of the good private medical colleges. Also if you are not from the unreserved category then you have chances for a government college if you’re from SC or ST category.

My expected marks in neet 2022 are 650. In which range my all india and state (Punjab) rank will fall?

Karishma Sawhney 17th Aug, 2022

Hello aspirant

If we look at the previous year's marks versus rank, then a score of 650 would fetch a rank of around 4100. However, there is no official information on the Punjab state marks versus rank.

At this score, you have a very good chance of getting a government medical college.

My expected neet 2022 score. Is 593 general category can I get a govt medical college

Karishma Sawhney 17th Aug, 2022

Hello aspirant

Following is the cut off for various government medical colleges for the general category-

Government Medical College, Shivpuri- 599

Pt. Raghunath Murmu Medical College, Baripada- 598

Soban Singh Jeena Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Uttarakhand- 599

Government Medical College, Barmer- 599

In UP state, the last seat was allotted to the candidate who scored 601 marks and the college allotted was Government Medical College, Ghazipur and in Haryana (your domiciled state), it was 602 marks.

The cut off score rarely goes below 597 marks in All India Quota, so you have less chances in both, of getting a government medical college, However, you have good chances of getting private and deemed medical colleges.

Please note that the cut-off varies every year depending on various factors such as the category of the student, number of students attempting the paper, number of newly opened colleges etc.

Can I get admission in any Government college As I am scoring 450+ in neet 2022? Can I get sit in BHMS or BAMS? in west bengal OBC-A?

Sijal Siddiqui 17th Aug, 2022

Hi,

Keeping in mind the ever increasing competition, it is next to impossible to get a government mbbs or bds by these marks in 2022.

You can surely go for BAMS, BHMS, OR B.UMS.

Although chances of bams are a bit low, but you surely will get b.h.m.s or b.u.m.s in west bengal by these marks.

I got 661 marks in neet 2022 will I get ims varanasi ews category?

rajeevanand843 17th Aug, 2022

Dear aspirant

I hope you are talking about IMS-BHU Varanasi, it is topmost medical college in state of Uttar Pradesh, it's counseling is conducted through AIQ counseling as it's come under central university.

It's cut off marks goes very high as it's come under top ten medical college all over India according to latest NIRF ranking.

As of now the scorecard and rank card haven't been declared so saying anything confirm is very difficult.

Although cut off marks IMS BHU VARANASI in NEET 2021 was as follows

Gen- AIR 974 and 679 marks

EWS - AIR 1516 and 671 marks

By seeing your marks it will be difficult for you to get this college in your category as 10 marks can make difference of 2k ranks almost. You will have only chance if NEET rank remain below 1.5k at your expected marks.

400 mark is good for neet 2022 in sc category kerala?

Aditya kumar 8th Jul, 2022

hiiii

400 is a good marks

With a score of 400 in the NEET Exam, you can get an MBBS seat, However, you need 400+ marks to get admission into a government medical college. As per the updated NEET exam pattern 2021, the total number of questions is going to be 200 out of which candidates need to answer 180 questions

the mars between 400 to 500 the candidate rank will be somewhere between 20000 to 12000.

this year its difficult to apply for any government college for medical study the 440+ rank should have a chance that you get a medical government College but you can go for private medical colleges for MBBS.

best of luck for your future.

How many BHMS or BAMS Government College there in West Bengal? Can I Get college in neet 2022 as Im scoring 450+??

tripti rai 16th Aug, 2022
Hey aspirant,
With the score of 450+ , chances to get into a government BAMS is colleges is little with OBC-A category through state quota since there is only 1 government ayurvedic college but u can get easily get a pvt bams seat.
And if you want to consider government BHMS seat then your chances are pretty high in west bengal since the last year cut off have been around 420-450.
Given below is the link for BAMS colleges:- http://medicine.careers369.com/colleges/list-of-bams-colleges-in-west-bengal This is the link for BHMS colleges in west bengal:- http://medicine.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-bhms-colleges-in-west-bengal
