I have recently got my 12th results 2021 do i need to edit my neet application form or can keep it as it it?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 4th Aug, 2021
Hi

No, no need to edit your neet application form . One needs to fill correct details as per time of filling the form and at the time of filling the form, your results were not out so you filled the application form choosing the code 1 ( code 1 is for 12th 2021 board examination  appearing student or have appeared but result is awaited ) and you  couldn't fill your details like marks/% obtained by you in 12th board examination etc.
If you want then you can edit your details i. e choose code 2 which is for 12th passed and add your 12th % etc  but it is completely optional , you can  leave your form the way it is.
Anyway,
If you decide to edit then,
Neet correction window will open on 8th August and the last date to use it is 12th August.

Here's how you can use correction window:-

*Visit neet.nta.nic.in

* login using your application number and password

* you will see an option by click here for corrections in the neet application form, click on it

*now you can edit / correct your details.

*After making correction, forfuture references , take a printout of your correction slip .

To know in detail about correction window you can check out our page for which link is given below:-

suchayitaanusaha 4th Aug, 2021

Hello,

You have to give your best of 5 dear. Because in 12th out 600 i.e. six subjects you have to choose best of five. So you can write any percentage or number in your application form for college or any entrance examination which is only for best of five dear.

All the best.

Megha Bele 3rd Aug, 2021

Hi aspirant

hope you are doing absolutely fine

Hindu community is not considered as minority according to neet exam. If you fall under SC category, you can have the benefit of this in NEET state and ALL INDIA QUOTA. MUSLIM, CHRISTIANITY is considered as minority community.

You can take the benefit of 15% reservation of SC category in NEET exam. This reservation is in both STATE and ALL INDIA QUOTA.

SIR I belongs to caste bce shaik and I have applied in neet Application form as general ews Because in central list our caste doesnot shown under obc ncl list . AM I eligible for bce reservation in state councelling sir

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 2nd Aug, 2021

Hello

Yes, those who don't belong to obc ncl at central level needs to select general category. If you have chosen ewd category then do make sure that you have a valid ews certificate to be uploaded in phase 2 of application form filling process and for counselling process . The 2nd part/ phase needs to be filled before your neet Result or downloading of neet result/score card , NTA will notify separately later on about phase 2 filling.

And,

Yes, you can  choose BC- E in your state counselling form and avail reservation because in state counselling categories are there as per the reservation system of that particular state.

For example,

In maharashtra there are different categories like NT1, NT2 etc, and  while filling maharashtra state neet counselling, the option of these categories are there.

Now that,

limited time is left for neet 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

  • practising chapterwise questions

  • then revising the chapters,

  • solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation  ,

  • go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

To help you in cracking neet, we have neet crash for you, the link for the same is given below :-

sir,i have filled the neet application form with category general, but, actually i come under obc-ncl category.can i have to apply a new application

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 2nd Aug, 2021

Hi

No need to fill a new application form because you can correct your category using neet correction window.

You can correct details like :

  • >>>> personal details like your name, your father's name, mother's name , category you belong to etc

  • >>>> medium or language of your Neet examination paper

  • >>>> choice of cities for examination centre

  • >>>> academic details of 10th, 11th and 12th like percentage obtained , passing year, school name etc

  • >>>> you can also change uploaded images.

Make sure that you are in the central list of obc ncl. Only then you can select obc ncl in application form.

Central list :

http://www.ncbc.nic.in/User_Panel/CentralListStateView.aspx

As per the  neet information brochure 2021 those who belong to OBC category at state level but are not in the centre list need to select general as their category while filling the Neet application form.

Neet correction window will open on 8th August and the last date to use it is 12th August .

*now you can edit / correct your details.
