Thankyou
Hello there,
Hope you are doing well . See,the main rank that is considered during counselling and seat allotment is your NEET All India Rank . Category ranks and state ranks are derived from NEET AIR itself . They are not some different or unrelated ranks to your NEET AIR. If you have a good NEET AIR,you'll have a good category rank (if you belong to any reserved categories) and a good state rank too. So,the prime factor which is considered while seat allotment is your NEET AIR be it by KEA or some other counselling authority.
Hope my answer helped.
From your profile it is evident that you belong to Uttar Pradesh. So here is a list of documents that you must keep ready In ORIGINAL for counseling. You will be asked to produce these documents for verification else your seat will be forfeited.

Hey Deepthi
Yes, if you appeared for both medical as well as engineering entrances then you can also apply for the counselling processes of both in your state,(i.e. in Karnataka) separately.
There is separate counselling for both these fields, so if you are eligible for both these fields then, you can also eligible for these medical as well as engineering counselling.
Also, there is nothing like cancelling of one if you appear for other.
After getting seats in any of these fields just go and take admission there. Also, if you get seats in both medical and engineering colleges then, its till you to select the field one by your choice.
So, i will suggest you to apply for both these counselling without any worry.
Good luck.
