rachanapbennur 28th Oct, 2020

Hello Nishanth!

This happens when many people try to access simultaneously and fill the application form. Sometimes the heavy load on server makes it difficult to handle. Do not panick! Wait for some time and then try again. It is always advisible to fill the application form during the time when the traffic on the server is not heavy. So try after sometime.

with 6 lakh rank in neet ug. belong to bc d category. can i expect seat in telangana state neet counselling

Nandhini Student Expert 28th Oct, 2020

Hello student,

With a rank of around 6,00,000+ in neet exam, if you are expecting a seat in the government medical colleges, then it is quite impossible, as the closing ranks were around 30,000 for medicine when comparing the results of the past years.

Yet, ranks and scores vary each year depending on state quotas, difficulty level of the question paper and so on. However, you can also predict the colleges which you are likely to get using the below mentioned link:

ARYAN SAGAR 28th Oct, 2020
Dear student,

After the neet exam, admissions to mbbs or bds courses, are given through the MCC counselling process on basis of neet ug score, also called as neet counselling. The NEET counselling are of two types- All India quota seats and State quota seats.

MCC Counselling for All India Quota Seats :-

Admissions to 15% seats in all Government medical and dental colleges, all seats of Deemed Universities/Central Universities/Seats of Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) & AFMC including Delhi University, BHU, AMU , and AIIMS & JIPMER are given through all india quota neet counselling process.

NEET UG Counselling for State Quota seats :-

Admissions to 85% of the seats in Government colleges of the state, all seats in private unaided/aided minority /non-minority medical/ dental colleges in the state are given via state quota neet counseling.

For participating in neet counselling, you must have given the neet ug exam and have a valid score/rank.

Neet counseling was scheduled to start from 27th october, but due to some technical issue the board has postponed the neet counseling till 28th october 2020. So, better check the mcc offical site to know the updates.

what is the use of NCL certificate during neet counselling?

anirudha vats 28th Oct, 2020

Hey,

The NCL certificate stands for NON CREAMY LAYER certificate that is a  proof for a student belonging to a OTHER BACKWARD CLASS ( OBC).

The NCL-OBC certificate helps students to get reservation of seats at the time of NEET counseling. In order to prove your category you need to submit the NCL certificate at the time of counseling.

Hope that helps.

Thank you.

what is aiq/ central colleges vs deemed university in neet counselling. and what should I apply, my rank is 6 lakh and what is neet state counselling

darshita 27th Oct, 2020

Hello,

Firstly deemed university are neither state nor govt varsity they have their own curriculum ,fee structure and entrance test like JMI

State university are controlled entirely by states like armed medical college and have 85% quota for state candidates.

Lastly central universities are controlled by the central like AIIMS

Now NEET counselling starts on October 28.

There are two main round and one mop up round for all medical colleges.

Before you apply for counselling be sure to read all the details of the college including eligibility criteria because if you're are given seats in a college and you reject it then your admission stand cancel with no fee refund .

All India rank will be considered for counselling process.

Hope this helps!!
