which section should i fill in neet form appearing or passed? And which year should i fill in neet form ,if i am from the 2020- 2021 batch , that is my board exam were not held due to corona and result has also not been announced.please tell which categ. to choose now passed or appearing &which year

Megha Bele 21st Jul, 2021

Hi aspirant

hope you are doing absolutely fine

You have to fill appearing as your results are yet to announce. So 2020-2021 is your academics year for 12th standard. Also the results have not been declared.

Also as you mentioned, you are a fresher, and not dropper/ repeater, so its appropriate for you to fill 2020 - 2021 as your academic year for 10 +2 higher secondary.  So for you, 2020 - 2021 is the year you are appearing for NEET entrance exam  as well as 12th boards. You can check the link for more details-

Generally  there is no need to worry about it. Codes are usually given to know certain number of candidates appearing for NEET Entrance exam. For instance, number of candidates appearing in NEET who are also pursuing degree, or droppers, et cetera

There is no such major issue to. It will not be even checked at the time of counselling and admission. For more, you can check this -

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 20th Jul, 2021

Hi

Yes you are eligible for UP state quota and can  avail OBC reservation as well.

This is because,

To be eligible for UP state quota it is not mandatory to have studied 10 or 12 from UP.

You need to fulfil any one of the following in order to be domicile of UP and thus be eligible for UP state quota :-

  • You must be native of UP and your father should be a Resident of the state of UP.

  • Your  parent/s should have lived UP for at least  3 years.

So, as you are native/ domicile domicile of u.p. and have domicile certificate as well so you are eligible for UP state quota

  • Your parent/s should be working with the Government of India.

  • If you have passed your 10th and 12th from the state of UP, then you don't need to furnish domicile certificate and you will be eligible for UP state quota

  • If you have have passed either your 10th or 12th from UP, then you need to furnish UP residence proof of your parent/s in order to be eligible for UP state quota

So, if you satisy anyone of the above points then you will be eligible for UP state quota

my father name is jamuna prasad kushwaha on 10th and 12 th marksheet. but my other document (adhar card , birth certificate, domicile certificate, ) father name is mishrilal parsad kushwaha how i fill NEET form. and also happened at time of counseling.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 19th Jul, 2021

Hello,

You have to fill your name, father's name, mother's name and date of birth as it is in class 10th certificate while filling NEET UG 2021 application form. So fill those details same as in class 10th certificate. At the time of document verification you have to provide your certificates such as class 10th certificate, class 12th certificate, domicile certificate, category certificate and other requisite documents. If the details do not match in the requisite documents then your candidature may get cancelled. So to avoid that you have to make an affidavit stating that both the names belongs to your father or if he has changes his name then you have to state that the name of person has been changed whichever is applicable. You have to publish the notice in local newspaper and keep the cut out of the notice with you. You can provide the affidavit at the time of document verification so that your candidature will not get cancelled.

Here is the eligibility criteria for NEET exam-

  • Candidate must secure minimum of 50% aggregate in 10 + 2 higher secondary education from a recognized college/ university.
  • The subjects in 10 + 2 higher secondary must be physics, chemistry and biology

Moreover 11th standard marks and certificates are required during the form filling procedure and also during the admission process. If any document is missing you will not be able to take the admission and  disqualified for further process.

Hence i suggest you to try getting your certificate from college so that it doesn't become difficult for you in future.
