is it compulsory to upload photos with name and date below in neet form? i have submitted it without any name and date below it ; will it be accepted?

Akash Singh 24th Jul, 2021

Dear student,

Not very compulsory but preferable.

You should have attach a photograph that has your name on it and also the date on which it has been captured.

Though it is not hard and fast rule but the page number 31 of  NEET 2021 information sheet suggests that the photo of the candidate should be clicked on or after 01-01-2021 and preferably , mentioning the name and date of photograph on the photograph.

But you should not worry much about it as they have not told that it is mandatory to do so your application will be accepted.

I hope it clears your doubts.

i have given improvement of 3 sub and i have 2 roll no. how fill the neet form which roll no. should i use.plzzz reply

Arish Ali 23rd Jul, 2021

Dear Vaishnavi,

Don't worry it's very simple. In NEET UG examination form we need to fill our 12th class roll no. But you now have two different marksheet with two different roll numbers and both of them are valid but you can use the details from only one of them, don't mix . So you should fill only the roll no of that marksheet which have more marks. If your marks improved in those subjects then you should fill all the details from the new marksheet. Otherwise you can fill it from the old marksheet.

The main point is that use details from only one marksheet because during counselling session your original marksheet will be verified when you will get any seat in a medical college. So fill all details from any one of the marksheet which have more marks in the required subjects.

Hope this answers your query

Thank you

For admission under Muslim Minority Quota, do i need to produce any minority certificate issued by Government. NEET form only asks for self declaration. Post application, weather certificate is required as a proof of Muslim Minority ? Also any college in Gujarat have Minority quota for MBBS.

Arish Ali 23rd Jul, 2021

Dear Irfan,

There is no requirement of producing an minority certificate issued by government for NEET UG exam.

Only a self declaration form is sufficient for that which is given on page number 98 ( appendix XII) in the NEET information bulletin which you can easily download from the official website.

This form is only required when someone is trying to get admission in a Medical college which have any reservation for the Minority community. Any minority student can fill this form very easily and it only requires your own signature.

In Gujarat there are no medical colleges for Muslim minority. One of the medical college which have minority reservation in Gujarat is SBKS Medical Institute & Research Center, Gujarat which is for ( Jain minority students)

Hope this answers your query

which section should i fill in neet form appearing or passed? And which year should i fill in neet form ,if i am from the 2020- 2021 batch , that is my board exam were not held due to corona and result has also not been announced.please tell which categ. to choose now passed or appearing &which year

Megha Bele 21st Jul, 2021

Hi aspirant

hope you are doing absolutely fine

You have to fill appearing as your results are yet to announce. So 2020-2021 is your academics year for 12th standard. Also the results have not been declared.

Also as you mentioned, you are a fresher, and not dropper/ repeater, so its appropriate for you to fill 2020 - 2021 as your academic year for 10 +2 higher secondary.  So for you, 2020 - 2021 is the year you are appearing for NEET entrance exam  as well as 12th boards. You can check the link for more details-
