i am applying for ews certificate now and i already filled in the neet form ews category will this cause any problem due to applying for certificate after form filling?

Maryam Sara 28th Jul, 2021

Hi Neha,

There will not be a problem even if you are now going to apply for the EWS certificate after you have submitted your application form because in the application you are not required to provide the certificate.

Just keep in mind that you should get the certificate before the counselling starts because at that time it mandatory for you to produce the certificate in front of the authorities, so that you get the seat in the respective quota.

You should further check the requirements or any other doubt in the link I am providing: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-eligibility-criteria

Hope this information helps you.

I have filled ews category in neet form but during counselling if i am unable to submit the certificate can i take admission via general category

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 27th Jul, 2021
Hello

Yes, you can choose general category for participating in neet counselling even if you have filled form as ews.

This is because

While filling the counselling form, one can choose general as his/her category even if he/she belongs to reserved category i. e ews/ obc/sc/st ( but not the other way i. e general to reserved category) provided he/she meets neet qualifying cut off marks of general category.

Now that,

limited time is left for neet 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

  • practising chapterwise questions

  • then revising the chapters,

  • solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation ,

  • go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

To help you in your preparation we have neet knockout, the link for the same is provided below :-

which code to choose in neet form when code 1 is dissapper but I have passed this year?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 27th Jul, 2021

Hi

Your profile suggests you are from west Bengal so I am guessing that you are from West Bengal board

You need to choose the code 2 .

This is because,

You have passed 12th from west Bengal board i. e West Bengal Council of   Higher Secondary   Education

And

code 2 says it is for all those who have passed their 10+2   /higher /senior secondary/   Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology and English

You cannot choose code 1 because:-

code 1 is for those who are going to appear in 12th board 2021 examination with physics, chemistry, biology and English or have have already appeared but results are awaited i. e have not been declared.

But you have already appeared for 12th board 2021 , and your results are out and you have  passed it. So, you cannot choose code 1.

i am regular attending student, what should I fill in the column of type of school/college in neet form? Private or other

Atul Singh 26th Jul, 2021

Dear Student,

private is the option for the students who haven't attended any lecture of the class or just enrolled in the institute and have given the exams only, you don't need to choose the private option as you have attended maximum lecture of your class.

You might see an option to a regular student, select that one otherwise go with the other one.

Best of Luck!!!
