I am a private candiadate appearing for cbse compartment 2021. So, 1) am i eligible to fill the neet form of 2021? 2) if yes, what should i fill in qualification code 01 or 02?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 2nd Aug, 2021

Hello

You have failed in 12th means you haven't not passed 12th , so you cannot choose code 2 as it is for 12th passed student.

Now,
Private candidate are eligible for neet examination provided that they have passed in their compartment examination and after passing the compartment examination, their % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology /biotechnology must be at least 50%  if belongs to general category , or   at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category. For detailed information about neet examination eligibility, go through our page for which link is provided below; -

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-eligibility-criteria

But,
In your case you have not even passed your class 12th board exam as a private candidate and you are going to appear as a private candidate for compartment 2021 so you can appear in NEET 2021 examination only if your compartment results are out by the time of counselling and then you will be eligible for counselling after qualifying neet only if you pass your compartment examination.

And if your compartment results will be out by the time of  counselling then you need to choose the code -1 because you haven't passed 12th yet and your result is awaited.

Now that,

limited time is left for neet 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

  • practising chapterwise questions

  • then revising the chapters,

  • solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation  ,

  • go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination. To help you in your preparation we have neet knockout for you :- https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-

Respected Sir/Madam, I got lowest number in Biology in 12th exam. SO it is out of my best of 5 number. Please tell me i have to add biology or not in NEET form.Because in the form they just want total number which generally indicate Best of 5 subjects number.

Shja 1st Aug, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

According to me unless and until they haven't mentioned that you need to stay your best of 4 marks you shouldn't consider that. Total marks means total marks obtained in class 12th so you need to mention your aggregate marks obtained. And also in the eligibility criteria it is clearly mentioned that to be eligible for appear in for exam, the candidate must have procured atleast 50% marks in PCB. That means even if they are asking for best of 4 you need to include scores of PCB.

I Hope this Helps!

All the Best

i have filled ews quota in neet form but during counselling if I want seat through general quota do l need ews certificate?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 31st Jul, 2021

Hi

Neet 2021 application form filling is divided into 2 parts/phases. You need to fill 1st part / phase before the last date i. e 06 August 2021 (upto 11:50 PM). The 2nd part/ phase needs to be filled before your neet Result or downloading of neet result/score card , NTA will notify separately later on about phase 2 filling.

One needs to  upload following documents in part/phase 2 of application form filling

>>>>>>Your Class X pass certificate

  • pdf format

  • size: 50 kb to 300kb

>>>>>>category certificate if you belong to ews/ obc /sc/st

  • pdf format

  • size: 50kb to 300kb

>>>>>>PwBD certificate ( if applicable)

  • pdf format

  • size: 50kb to 300kb

>>>>>> Citizenship certificate or Embassy certificate or any kind of Documentary proof for Citizenship certificate ( for foreign applicants)

  • PDF format

  • file size: 50 kb to 300 kb

So, yes you will have to submit your ews certificate if you have chosen ews category

If you don't have ews certificate and want to participate in counselling as a general category, then you should change your category from ews to general category using correction window

Neet correction window will open on 8th August and the last date to use it is 12th August.

Here's how you can use correction window:-

*Visit neet.nta.nic.in

* login using your application number and password

* you will see an option by “ click here  for corrections in the neet application form”, click on it

*now you can edit / correct your details.

*After making correction, for future references , take a printout of your correction slip .

To know in detail about correction window you can check out our page for which link is given below:-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-application-form-correction-guide

When you change your category, from a  category for which application fee is less to a category for which application fee is more  . Then you have to pay the extra amount equal to the difference in the amount of application fee for the two categories.

For example,

While changing the category from ews to general.

Extra amount to be paid

=Application fee for general - Application fee for ews

= 1500 - 1400 = Rs 100.

Thank you

Im from jharkhand and i come under OBC in State caste certificate but their is confusion in National caste certificate. if i mention myself OBC in NEET form will that make any problem. because students of my area are confused between being GENERAL or OBC in national caste certificate.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 30th Jul, 2021
Hi

No, need to be confused dear.

As per neet information brochure 2021 those who belong to OBC nclcategory at state level but are not in the centre list need to select general as their category while filling the Neet application form.

So,

Whether you need to choose OBC NCL while filling Neet application form or not depends upon whether you are in the central list of OBC NCL or not. The link for the central OBC ncl list is provided below

Central list :

http://www.ncbc.nic.in/User_Panel/CentralListStateView.aspx

Go through the above central list , and if you are in the central list of OBC NCL then only choose OBC NCL as your category Otherwise you must choose general category while filling the neet application form.

And,
Don't worry, in case you if you don't belong to obc ncl at central level While filling the form of state counselling you can definitely choose OBC ncl because you belong to obc ncl at state level and can avail reservationwhile for all India counselling you need to participate as a general category and thus for filling the neet application form you need to choose general as your category.

To help you further, here's how you can fill neet application form

To fill the application form you need to go through 5 steps i. e

*neet registration :- first of all visit the official website of neet i. e ntaneet to generate your login credentials,

*then fill the form i. e you need to fill your personal academic and contact details

*and after that you need to go for uploading your documents,

*then pay the application fee

  • General :- 1500/-

  • General-EWS/ OBC-NCL :- 1400

  • SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender :- 800

  • Foreign candidate :- 7500

*And finally you should take the printout of confirmation page.

For detailed step by step procedure to fill neet application form, follow the below steps

neet form can be filled by Mobile Or not

Atul Singh 29th Jul, 2021

Dear Student,

Yes, you can fill any application form from any device but you need to know the the smaller the screen sizes the more problem you will face. Like when you are filling your application form there are some lines maybe not visible or collapsed due to smaller screen so you can't read the full instruction and can do mistakes in any part, yes you can use desktop mode also n smartphone but that function also fails some time. And also when you switch to any other tab for a moment then you need to complete the each and every process again, so it will take time to uploading the documents.

So better if you choose big screen like Tablet or Laptop or any desktop for form filling so that you can manage everything easily and upload every document in proper manner.

Good Luck :)
