Iam going to take part in up ug ayush counselling physical reporting in Lucknow but I filled obc in neet form and I am taking private bhms college. But I dont have obc caste certificate so will there be an issue

Anurag Khanna 20th Jan, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See if you have applied for BHMS under OBC reservation quota then you must be having OBC-NCL reservation certificate and if you don't have the certificate then your seat may be cancelled or you might be transferred to General quota which has no reservation. Usually the caste certificate is required at the time of reporting to verify the caste reservation eligibility but If you don't have your caste reservation certificate right now and you can get it within few days then you can talk to the college authorities and request some time and you can also give them an application with the copy of receipt which you got at the time of applying for OBC-NCL certificate. If they approve your request then try to submit your certificate within time but if they don't then ask them for an alternative.

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

hello priyaanka mam.. m vartika u helped me in every query now plz help in this my query is that I filled my bio as add sub frm nios and its exam in feb 2021 so for filling neet form what code I choose and in 12 column which board I choose bcoz my 12 is in state board with PCM done in 2013.help

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th Dec, 2020

Vartika, the NEET forms haven't been released yet and we are still unsure of the date. They might be tentatively released in the months of January or February. So let's say your exam is in February, there are 2 things here. If the NEET applications are released before your NIOS exam, your code will be 01 because you are still appearing for the qualifying exam to be eligible for NEET. But if the applications are released after your NIOS exam, your code will be 02 because then you have already written the exam. And you will select your State Board as your Board of qualifying examination because through NIOS you are not appearing for the entire 12th but are appearing for only 1 subject.
