in all India quota 15% which I have filled in the neet form (example-delhi) which suppose to be my domicile state while taking admission can I go for this state only can I choose other states also of my choice

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 20th Jul, 2020

All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC , AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. Now while filling the State Eligibility in your NEET application form, NTA did mention that you can mention any State there but you will be eligible for State Counselling of the State that you hold the domicile of. For example, if you hold the domicile of Rajasthan, you can participate in 85% State Counselling for Rajasthan GMC seats and Private Medical College seats. You can also participate in 15% All India Counselling for GMC seats of the rest of the States excluding Jammu and Kashmir. This 15% All India Counselling includes seats in Deemed/Central Universities, AIIMS and JIPMER. So when you opt for All India Counselling, you can select GMC of any State excluding Jammu and Kashmir. You can also opt for a GMC of Rajasthan too. And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . Hii!
In the upcoming time, whenever you fill the NEET UG entrance exam's application form, you will have to choose the qualification code as per your degree.
You haven't mentioned whether you did undergraduation during the time after 2013 or didn't go for any course.
So, if you took drop and didn't go for any course in between, your code will be 2. Else, it may vary as per the qualification accordingly.
The link given below may help you with more details-

Hope this helps.
Good luck!

hello mam.. I have completed my 12 class in 2013 with PCM subject so If I go for neet exam next year then I will give 12 exam from nios this year so whats my code for filling neet form for next year help me

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 1st Jun, 2020
If you are giving your NIOS exam this year, technically you will be considered 12th completed by NEET 2021 and so your qualification code will be 02. Cofe 02 is for those Candidates who have completed their 12th. But if you are appearing for NIOS exam in 2021, then your Code will be 01 as Code 01 is for those Candidates who are appearing for their qualifying examination.

I havent filled out the neet form yet, so what do I have to do to take the exam?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 29th May, 2020

If you haven't filled up tje NEET application form for 2020, unfortunately you cannot appear for NEET this year because the applications were closed in the month of January. And NEET is the only entrance examination for admission to Medical, Dental, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India, So if you haven't applied for NEET, you will have to wait until this December when the online registrations open for 2021.

i fit to SEBC category , but in neet form there is no option and if i choose obc-ncl , then it will require ncl certificate which i dont have and if i apply for UR category will i able to choose sebc during Maharashtra state counselling for mbbs ? please help i am getting tensed.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 23rd May, 2020
You need to check if your Caste/Community is listed under Central OBC list. If yes, then you can select OBC-NCL as your Category in NEET application form. If your Caste/Community isn't listed under Central OBC list then you need to select General Category. And eitherways, you can select SEBC in Maharashtra NEET Counsellingm SEBC is not a National level reservation and so you do not see it in NEET application form.

I had filled the neet form with category general.... but now I have an ews certificate but i had not included it in form as ug ews... now can i use the certificate in geeting admission....

Sam NU 17th Sep, 2020

Further, the qualifying percentile for EWS category is 50 percentile and hence there is no need to make any changes in the online Application Form or providing separate merit list for EWS category. The candidates of EWS category may indicate their category at the time of registration for counselling.”

There is no EWS category in the correction facility (but I would recommend you to personally check it after login).

After all, if you go for the EWS quota then I would personally recommend you to first go through all the requirements it wants and if you are eligible then collect all required documents for it since you will not get the time for it later

sir I belong to RBA category which category do I have to fill in in NEET form. in which category do RAB category comes and I have to fill that form please tell me. what I have to tick in the neet form if I have Rba category.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th May, 2020
You have to select your actual Categpry. For example, you will have to select General Category as your Category if you belong to General Category. But if you bwlongbto General Category and you have EWS reservation, then yiu have to select EWS as your Category. RBA is not an option in the NEET application form. So you have to select the actual Category you belong to and then during J & K State Counselling, you have to opt for RBA Category. This is because RBA is Jammu and Kashmir specific but NEET application is the same for the entire country across all States.
