NEET form
All the 15% of All India Quota Seats except for Jammu and Kashmir, 100% Seats at Deemed and Central Universities, IP Quota seats in ESIC Colleges, Seats at AFMC , AIIMS and JIPMER are filled by DGHS. The 85% State Quota and Private Colleges are filled by the respective State Authorities. Now while filling the State Eligibility in your NEET application form, NTA did mention that you can mention any State there but you will be eligible for State Counselling of the State that you hold the domicile of. For example, if you hold the domicile of Rajasthan, you can participate in 85% State Counselling for Rajasthan GMC seats and Private Medical College seats. You can also participate in 15% All India Counselling for GMC seats of the rest of the States excluding Jammu and Kashmir. This 15% All India Counselling includes seats in Deemed/Central Universities, AIIMS and JIPMER. So when you opt for All India Counselling, you can select GMC of any State excluding Jammu and Kashmir. You can also opt for a GMC of Rajasthan too. And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . And because you have 2 more months to prepare for NEET, you may as well use this opportunity.
If you haven't filled up tje NEET application form for 2020, unfortunately you cannot appear for NEET this year because the applications were closed in the month of January. And NEET is the only entrance examination for admission to Medical, Dental, Ayush and Veterinary courses across India, So if you haven't applied for NEET, you will have to wait until this December when the online registrations open for 2021.
Further, the qualifying percentile for EWS category is 50 percentile and hence there is no need to make any changes in the online Application Form or providing separate merit list for EWS category. The candidates of EWS category may indicate their category at the time of registration for counselling.”
There is no EWS category in the correction facility (but I would recommend you to personally check it after login).
After all, if you go for the EWS quota then I would personally recommend you to first go through all the requirements it wants and if you are eligible then collect all required documents for it since you will not get the time for it later
