i m 2nd year bsc student and had not given exam of 2nd year which code is to be filled in neet form??

Disha Arora 15th Jul, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

You cannot mark Code 6 as you not completed your B.Sc. Degree Program, you will have to mark Code 5. We assume you have passed your first year exam but not taken the second year examination, this is what we understand from your question, and hence you need to mark Code 5.

Code 5, states that anyone who has passed their first year of  a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and that examination is a university level examination. Also their 12th standard educational qualifications are also with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as a compulsory subject.

Good Luck

I have once made correction in photos in my neet form in that I have uploaded clear photo but I uploaded same post card photo for passport size photo after resizing (according to passport photo dimensions) postcard photo ,I have not used passport photo to upload ,do I need to make changes in it ?

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 12th Jul, 2020

Hey!

If you have uploaded the picture as same as the dimensions of passport size picture of yours than there are chances that you might not need to make changes again in the application form of NEET2020. But if the size of photograph does not meet the criteria as mentioned in the instructions to fill the form then you need to make the changes.

Thank you

So, if you belong to any of these communities you need to choose yes or select the community to which you belong to and you need to provide a supporting document which states that you belong to a particular minority community. I have corrected neet form with fathers name same as 10 th result but also replaced fathers name in Aadhar card with mother name (that is correct) fathers spelling was different in UIDAI card .I hope its not necessary to put fathers name in Aadhar card . wont be problem in exam center

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 7th Jul, 2020

We know that you are quite young and it is ok to be apprehensive. But trust the system on this. This will not be a problem at all. No Candidate will be denied an admit card or entrance to an examination hall just because the middle name is different. You did not receive notification from NTA asking you to make changes. That is the first sign. Then you went ahead and also made corrections to the application form. That is the 2nd sign. These 2 signs are in your favour. Now let's say you are an authority and I am a student. By mistake I write my name as Prianka Sarkar instead of Priyanka Sarkar on the Aadhar card. But the rest of the details like 10th marks sheet, application form and all other valid Id proofs have Priyanka Sarkar. Wont you consider the rest of the proofs because the Supreme Court has mentioned that Aadhar Card is not mandatory for admission and entrance examination purposes? If you hold me back, wont it be going against the Supreme Court's ruling? This is the same case with you right now. You should not be worried because there is nothing to be really worried about. What you should be worried about is being worried about the admit card, you are losing out on the time that you could rather spend preparing for the exam. So do not worry and prepare for the exam. Last thing you want to do is worry about the admit card and lose out on securing a MBBS seat.

Hello Aspirant,

National Testing Agency (NTA) use to conduct NEET exam and for this year they closed the application for NEET 2020.

You need not to worry for this issue if you have not received any mail or notification regarding any mismatch in your application form. As NTA verifies on their own for each and every application and if any mismatch or any discrepancy is found they notify the candidate about that and if you did not received any such kind of mail, than you are safe and your application has been registered successfully.

If there will be any problem in counseling or in any other process after exam than you can use affidavit.

Some possible circumstances in which your NEET application might be rejected are:

  • If an incomplete application has been submitted.
  • The same Candidate has submitted more than one application forms
  • If the details mentioned in the application mismatched with the document that you have uploaded.

For more details about NEET 2020 you should refer to the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

My fathers name in neet form 2020 is ROHIT KUMAR MISHRA same as aadhar card but 10 n 12 marksheet has by the name ROHIT KR MISHRA also I have mailed it to NTA about the same but I m worried and wanted to ask if my admit card is liable for rejection by NTA please guide me

Soumili Majumdar 6th Jul, 2020
Hello there,
NTA generally rejects the admit card of any candidate for the following reasons:
1. The application form is incomplete
2. More than one application form is submitted by a particular candidate
3. If the information provided doesn't match with the documents.

In your case, you will not face any problem, there's no need to worry. Your father's name doesn't affect the merit list. If the issue was with your name, then it would create a problem with your admit card and the admission process. But in this case, you don't need to be tensed.

Also, NTA would notify you if your admit card is not issued due to any problem. If you haven't received any email regarding this, then you are safe. Since you have sent an email to the authorities regarding this, just wait for their reply. You don't need to worry. Generally this doesn't create a problem. You will receive your admit card, and can appear for the exam. And for the counseling and admission process, you can have an affidavit, if required, stating that both the names belong to the same person.

Hope this answer helps you.
Good luck!!

dear mam/sir if i fail in any of phy or chem in 12th(pcm) and give compartment exam in that particular subject. Also took additional bio from nios to give neet next year . so will that compartment exam marks be acknowledged to fulfill neet form filling criteria

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 30th Jun, 2020

hi,

see there is no age limit to appear in neet ug exam, and if you do not have biology in 12th course you may take nios exams and nios certificate is accepted by all government and private organization in india, now if you cleared the compartment paper before the admission of neet ug then it is acceptable. the qualifying marks criteria for neet ug is 50% aggregate of pcb for general category students, 40% aggregate marks of pcb applicable for sc/st/obc candidates.
