mjaisinghani62 13th Jan, 2024

Hello Rahul

You don't need to appear for Neet exam for biotechnology study.

You can do bsc in biotechnology or b tech in biotechnology

For bsc in biotechnology,  you must have passed class xii with minimum 50% marks with pcb / pcm.

After bsc you can go for msc in biotechnology  for your career growth.

For pursuing b tech in biotechnology , you need to given cet ( common entrance test) . On the basis of cet score you will get admission to b tech in biotechnology.

I have pcb 56% and passed in all subject but I passed chemistry with +9 grace mark ,am i eligible for neet and mbbs abroad?

Tanya Gupta 22nd Jan, 2024

Hello,

I understand your concern regarding the eligibility. The basic eligibility requirement for NEET is that the General and EWS candidates need minimum 50% marks in 12th while SC/ ST/ OBC and PwD candidates need 40% marks in 12th. Hence, you are above 50% marks in PCB and have passed all 3 subjects individually, you will be eligible for NEET.

Hope this helps,

Thank you

i am yadav category if my obc certificate in uttar Pradesh but i will be cleared 10 th and 12th boards in Maharashtra than uttar pradesh obc certificate is eligible for neet form

Tanya Gupta 10th Jan, 2024

Hello,

Yes, your OBC certificate which is issued in Uttar Pradesh is generally valid for NEET application. It doesn’t matter where you completed your education. It is valid even if you completed your 10th and 12th in Maharashtra provided it is per the OBC NCL format prescribed by NTA and is issued by authorities, such as District Magistrate, Extra Assistant Commissioner, Chief Presidency Magistrate, Revenue Officer (Tehsildar rank or above), or Sub-Divisional Officer.

It is valid for NEET UP and All India counselling but not accepted for Maharashtra state counselling and for that you require a specific Maharashtra OBC-NCL certificate.

I hope this helps,

Thank you
