ABHIK SHAW 9th Nov, 2020

Hello,

Based upon the marks that you have scored, for OBC category you have chances for the following colleges for the state quota seats -

  • ACPM Medical College, Dhule
  • Ashwini Rural Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Kumbhari
  • Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research, Pune

The state quota seats in Maharashtra are divided between between 70% regional quota and 30% state quota seats.

Now regarding All India Quota seats you seem to have less chances for government colleges. For the complete list of colleges use our NEET college predictor -

20000 rank marks in neet ug 2020

akashkumarpati.2000 9th Nov, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

At first many many congratulations for your success in NEET UG 2020.

One thing, you've not mentioned your category, so I'm considering you as a General-UR aspirant.

Regarding your query I would like to inform you that it's quite difficult for you to get top Government MBBS colleges in any State through 15% AIQ. But you can opt for the State Level Counselling procedure.

Actually you also don't have provided the name of your residential state in your question, so from your Careers360 profile I've found that you belong to Jharkhand. Ok now I'm going to discuss about your admission chances in Jharkhand NEET Counselling.

You should have known to the fact that Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has decided to release the official cut-off details of top Government and Private MBBS instituions in the fourth week of November. So we've to go for the previous year's cut-off details:

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-jharkhand

After analysing the above website and remembering the fact that the cut-off marks will definitely get increased in this year on account of increasing of the several important factors responsible for the determination of the qualifying marks, I can assure you that it's just impossible for you to grab a seat in any Government MBBS colleges with this rank in Jharkhand, you can try for Government BDS instituions (i.e. Dental institute, RIMS, Ranchi). Moreover your rank is perfectly suitable for Government MBBS seats in many prestigious Private instituions. To get the further details in this regard, please visit the following link:

Siddhi Shenoy 8th Nov, 2020

Hello Swapnil Shelke,

If you have registered for the state counselling of Maharashtra counselling and have already paid the registration fees, then your application should be confirmed. The site must have not been updated and therefore might be still showing as pending. However, if till tomorrow the status remains as pending, then contact the authorities conducting Maharashtra counselling and inform them about the issue. They will revert back to you with the solution. You can find their contact details on the official website where you registered for state counselling.
