Hi Sanika
Yes, you should go for second round of counselling if no college was alloted to you in first round
Since last allotment for first round was 619, second round is going to be more tough because there are many students between 550 to 600
Considering your rank- 58907, there is less chance to get into AIIMS.
But you can try for mopup round in case few seats are left vacant
Keep your hopes high
Best of luck
Dr. Bala, the OMR sheets should have been displayed ideally today but that did not happen. So we are expecting the OMR sheets to be displayed tomorrow. But again this is an expectant date because NTA has not released any official information regarding this.
Hey aspirant,
Based on your marks, it seems difficult to get an MBBS seat under government quota either in government or private college. However, you may get a seat under management quota at private institutes like Trichy (SRM) Medical College which had a cutoff of 393 marks for NEET 2019. Sree Moogambigai Institute of Medical Sciences, Kanyakumari had a cutoff of 393 and Tagore Medical College, Chennai had a cutoff of 391 marks, these are some of the colleges where you may get a management seat.
You can find more about previous year's cutoff here: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-tamil-nadu
